Dylan Wang does it again!!

Gosh Dylan Wang is on fire with his dramas, all of them I LOVED!
I love him in these roles where he's "evil" but is actually a softie. He was so intelligent and sweet in this series. I love the FL too, she's a really good actress and I loved her character. Bu Yinlou is seriously so smart and the two have such good chemistry!!!

ALSO the other two couples are so flipping cute!! Loved the progress between them and it really gave more depth into the series!!
And the villains were so good too lmao it was so annoying to see the actress Zengli as the villain because she was also annoying in Love Like the Galaxy.

Sadly, he second half of the series kind of started to drag a bit. I was really wondering when the King would find out. Other than the storyline feeling rushed a bit in the end, I really enjoyed the series!!

This is top tier for a mini web series!!!

I stumped upon this drama cause I watched Chao Yuqi's previous work- Love @ 2nd Sight. I am very glad I watched that one first and this one afterwards lol. Cause I would be been so disappointed if it was vice versa.

Story: The plot was basic but they did it great! I really liked how we got a bite size version of a longer romcom series.
Acting/Cast: The two leads have really good chemistry!! I loved how adorable they were together. Both of the actors did a really good job! And I loved the twist at the end where the ML is actually the son of the other company.

Overall, love this series and it's a must watch!!

Not as good as I thought it would be sadly & MAJOR annoying characters

Well, I was quite excited for this drama- Minho, Chae Soobin and the storyline all seemed great. Idk maybe I had too high of expectations but I didn't really enjoyed it as much and almost dropped it tbh.

First, I'm not a big fan of the FL's character; she just gave very bad vibes- first she cheated on her BF and acts like nothing happened when they get back together; like this was just glanced over. I mean obviously the writers had the two leads sleep together again for the plot but it just didn't make sense... And secondly I didn't really like the way they portrayed her when she was working- she always got backlash, was always taking other peoples shit and she never like stood up for herself???? Anyways, did not like Chae Soobin in this series- liked her way better in Rookie Cops.

And Minho was the same lmao I LOVE HIM but he wasn't that great in this series...um idk if his character was just flat or he's just bad at acting??? But the ML was boring and tbh the two didn't really give off chemistry as a couple.

UGH and seriously all the other characters were so annoying, they were so over dramatic!!! I almost had to stop watching cause of how bad it was.

The only characters I really loved were Seonho- she gave BADASS WOMAN VIBES and I loved it!! ALSO her new BF way better than her ex. I also adored Joseph and his assistant JD, their work relationship is goals. And I love Joseph's mom, she's literally so sweet and supportive!!!

LASTLY can we give some love to the SML because I would of chosen him tbh lol. He was so sweet to the FL. It's actually quite sad how people aren't over their exs and they start new relationships but in reality, they're not 100% into their current relationship...AND that was basically the story of the FL LOL.

Childhood Sweetheart Storyline with lots of fluff, comedy and mystery

I had this one my watchlist for a while now because I adore the two main actors but forgot about the drama. SUPER GLAD I picked it up cause I watched it all in one day LOL

Seriously this drama was sooo good and was MY CUP OF TEA. It had a the right amount of fluff, angst, love and mystery.

I loved all the characters, they were so amazing and none of them were problematic!!
In the beginning, obviously the ML was quite annoying because he really bullied the FL but we got to see him open up and we got to see main character grown for him. I love the actor and he did a great job but wish we had a bit more focus on him and his storyline of be/becoming his title.

The FL was enjoyable to watch, of course Esther really fit the role well and she was so funny. I loved how independent she was and how she always stayed true to herself. I definitely feel like most people misunderstood her when she went into the capitol. Personally I loved that she left with the Young Lord lol because we got the best of both worlds!!!
To be honest, I’m not a big fan or love triangles or love squares but I actually liked what they did with this love square. The evil SFL was obliviously the villain and the actress did so good - literally wanted to slap her every time she came on screen lol. But glad she wasn’t those annoying clingy SFLs and in the end she got her redemption/good ending for her evilness.

Moving on to the SML- GOSH I really liked him!! And really thought he really was the FL’s childhood lover. SERIOUSLY the writers who wrote this storyline need a raise because this is the first time in a while where the plot twists were so good it threw me off. I was not expecting all of those plot twists. BUT can we just get a moment to appreciate the SML because the poor guy’s life is just so sad. I’m so happy that he stayed good even though he really could have done evil things.

The second couple were just so couple; I loved their scenes and they were just so adorable and funny!!
Also is this the first drama where all the adults are actually supportive loving parents????!!!!
The King, the ML’s father and the FL’s parents were all unproblematic and this was just so refreshing.

Overall, this series was so good and I loved most of every minute of it!! The storyline in the beginning was a bit slow but as it progressed it got better and the end was just jaw dropping- although I do wish they did more at the end because it seems they rushed it a bit. This is definitely a must watch!

Refreshing School Romcom but with some unbearable immature female characters

Story: I enjoyed the plot line because it was super cute! It was super cute how the FL was trying to be the ML’s bff because of her brother. Honestly, I wish her brother was in the drama because he seemed like such a great character! And I love how the ML slowly started to open up to her. It was nice how they were able to get over the misunderstanding so fast. However as the drama progressed I felt like it just started getting bad lol the plot line became predictable and lame. I honestly thought it was so stupid how she couldn’t get into college with them- idk maybe it’s just an overseas thing but that was depressing tbh…all the miscommunication and that’s when I started to dislike the FL, she was really immature. I did love the end though because they gave us a major happy ending- but I wasn’t that excited about this couple so it wasn’t that happy to me LOL if it was my other favorite couples, I would of been fangirling hard.
Acting/Cast: Honestly, I am so tired of shitty female characters. The side female character was so ASS; she was so selfish and so annoying and my least favorite character. All the other characters were alright- sad that they actually didn’t focus on them.
Rewatch Value: It was a cute first watch but probably will not watch again due to the bad characters.

Overall, it wasn’t a bad watch just couldn’t stand the female characters at some points.

Finally, A Genuine Dating Show with Minimal Drama and more Friendship instead

Storyline/Plot: Sometimes I question if the show is actually scripted because some goofy stuff happens but you know- let's just hope it isn't.
Cast: (from fav to least)
Kim Se Jun: LOVED LOVED LOVED him because he was literally just a vibe the whole show and he had undivided love and attention for my girl Lee Soe.

Kim Han Bin: Seriously LOVE LOVE LOVE him because he's cute and is a cook!! If there were younger female cast members they definitely would of been fighting for him!!

Lee Nadine: WOW who did not like Nadine? Seriously girl is living the true asian-american dream life. But obviously none of the male cast members would of picked her cause she isn't their type.

Choi Jong Woo: tbh he wasn't much in the beginning and I really did not think he had an influence on Seulki but he really came through during the mud pit fight. Honestly, at the end when Seulki chose him, I cried for him cause his dreams came true!!! He seems super sweet and would be such good bf material!

Lee Soe: I liked her in the beginning, kind of disliked her in the middle and liked her in end. I really felt for her because she reminded me of past self in relationships too. But glad she was mature and really took care of herself and took the time to move on from Yoongjae- so she could be with Sejun!!!

Shin Seul Ki: Honestly, I wasn't a big fan of her at first because she just gave off those vibes lol but she honestly isn't too bad. I really liked how she was able to stand her ground with her boundaries and chose herself at the end of the day. Honestly really thought she was going to choose Jinyoung thou LOL

Choi Seo Eun: She's really pretty and really cool and down to earth!! But her choice in men got me questioning lolol IDK if I would chose

Jinyoung: WOW I understand he was so popular and he was pretty cool but that shit he pulled at the last episode got me questioning. He seems like a genuine guy but he definitely thinks too much- like he was stuck in his head with Nadine and Seulki. He played their whole life future together before he even decided if he wanted to choose them lol. Also I think realistically he wouldn't have ended up with any of the girls just cause his lifestyle doesn't fit with them.

Park Se Jeong: Put her in a show in the US and all the bros would be down for her. Didn't really get to see her much and sad she didn't go to paradise but highkey she seems like those two-faced people??? Just cause that one scene where Nadine told her she was interested in talking to Jinyoung more but she went to Jinyoung first to talk to him....MEAN GIRL VIBES- steal ur bf & act like nothing happen vibes lololol

Jo Yoong Jae: Okay, let's be real, he is good looking and cool. But that plot twist gmfu and just the fact that he couldn't reject Soe didn't make sense and is highkey a red flag. Like he's 32, looks that good- probably had loads of girls chasing him- like he would know how to reject them right??? The whole scene where Soe and him were talking after he confirmed Seoeun's feelings pissed me off. Like she was trying to make him feel better....when she was the one being rejected. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE...
Lim Min Su: Honestly, this girl was boring. She was just there to add drama and create a divide between Jinyoung and Seulki. Didn't understand why she chose Jinyoung twice to go to Paradise- talk about awkward...lol

Shin Dong Woo: MY LEAST FAV- tbh he just smells red flag all over. It shocked me when he chose Seulki during the first rounds of Paradise- although it wasn't all that surprising; just more disappointing because ONE he was basically giving Nadine vibes that he was going to choose her but he chose Seulki instead. SO bro's a LIAR (like Nadine said in that post YT video lmfao). Anyways, it was disappointing because I really thought he was different from the average Asian man but he ain't.
And then the whole Seulki situation was just embarrassing- first their date in paradise was so awkward (like bro doesn't understand boundaries). and seriously even after Seulki told him that she wasn't interested in her no more, he still was trying to pursue her in a sense which was just so bad to watch- second hand embarrassment. OHHH and they way he just switched off after learning that Nadine was pre-med at Harvard was another red flag. Like he really could of been like older brother vibes and given her advice and such you know but he was just like turned off. Which is ironic bc that's what Seulki did when she learned he was a doctor, in my opinion.

Music: N/A
Rewatch Value: Probably won't rewatch just because it's only good the first time seeing it lol
Other Notes: The plot twists were crazy and really did not expect them to happen. Overall, I'm glad I watched the show though because there was minimal drama and loads of friendship and it was just genuine.

Korean X American Supernatural Mini Series

Watched this drama solely for Eunwoo but didn't expect to get more eye candy- Namgil, Sungjoon and Taejoon. And honestly the cast for this series was fantastic!!!

I really enjoyed the Korean Dol hareubangs and the American Christianity/priest/exorcist theme was really cool to see. I loved the graphics of the fights and how all the scenes looked so beautiful!!

The only dislike was the storyline- it was kind of confusing and it left me wondering what was happening at some points. I was expecting Miho to unleash her powers fully but I guess there's gonna be a season 2???

Overall, a decent short mini series that is very nicely produced!

Interesting in the beginning but went downhill

Let’s be real, most people watched this drama for Park Minyoung. I wouldn’t say she did an amazing job in this role but she wasn’t bad. I enjoyed her character and how self-less she was but sometimes her character also didn’t make any sense. The storyline with this drama was also kind of annoying— it’s like they were trying to do something new with making the ML mysterious but it kind of got ruined with all the chaebol drama.

No hate against Go Kyungpho but I just don’t think he and Park Minyoung had an chemistry cause I got bored so many times and I wanted to drop the series many times. With that being said, she definitely had more chemistry with Kim Jaeyoung. And I did enjoy most of the side characters— the FL’s gay best friend and the SML’s manager and the ML’s ex-wife (who sort of grew on me, just because she helped the FL/ML).

Overall, the first couple episodes were great but got boring af later.

Stereotypical with a twist but not my cup of tea

Firstly, I did enjoyed the witch plot line and how that created the twist. However I did not enjoy the main actress, she didn’t do that great of a job and tbh the male lead’s character was also quite confusing. Tbh the second female lead- her best friend was more likable than the main lead herself. And I was more interested in what would of happened if the second female lead and the male lead got together.

Overall, it was a good drama to watch while doing other things. Interesting parts in some episodes but the rest mediocre.

Great Slice of Life Drama Inside an Airport

This drama was a great pick me up drama atm because I'm currently in a drama slump.

It is more slice of life with hints of romance and some melodrama cause there were quite some tear jerkers. I loved how Chengxiao is a strong female lead, there was always something pinned against her and she always stood her ground and got through it all and I admired that about her. She also was incredible when it came to her love life- she indirectly confessed and flirted and teased the ML all the time and it was so cute to watch those scenes. And of course Tan Songyun is an amazing actress (one of my favs) so I expect nothing less of her performance.
The actor for the ML (Wang Kai) was honestly super handsome and looks so good for his age like wtf but he also did great in his role, but at the same time I felt like it was lacking a bit? Maybe it's just how his character is too. But I loved loved how supportive he was with Chengxiao and her career as a pilot.
I have never watched any dramas with a setting as an airport/pilots etc so this drama was pretty informative. Also I LAUGHED at the American scenes and actors- the part where they started clapping when they poured water on her ??? cringe tbh not sure where the writers got their information from...
Anyways the plot was great! Lots of good information, some drama, trauma, family issues, friendship issues etc etc everything you could want in a drama !!
The only thing that was annoying was the love story- they dragged way too long - like we want more cute scenes. So if your looking for a romance drama, this ain't it.

The cast was amazing, the main actors and all the side actors/characters were great. I'm happy they were able to wrap everything up nicely at the end and everyone got their redemptions.

Overall, a great watch with amazing actors and actresses'

Cutest Warm-heartening Movie

Storyline/Plot: The storyline is quite typical and cliché but they do it so well. The FL is your typical pampered, spoiled, rich, naïve girl. She dreams of her prince charming coming to sweep her off her feet. And the ML is well essentially normal- he's poor and has family trauma.
The movie moves pretty fast because the wedding happened and tbh I thought it was all in the FL's head but turns out they really had a shotgun wedding. It was quite funny to see them become poor overnight and I did not expect that to happen.
In the beginning, watching the naïve FL navigate through her new life was pretty annoying but she definitely surprised me because she didn't give up or run to her parents; she was actually the opposite and I loved that about her- she became more likable.
With the ML, he also surprised me too because I thought he was going to be your typical cold tsundere but he was actually super sweet and kind. I loved how he taught the FL things and just the way he smiled anytime he was watching her was cute. I also was surprised when they included in his family/mom trauma- wish they could of dove into that but obviously since it's just a movie- there couldn't be much done.
Acting: LOVED all the actors!!! They did amazing at acting their roles so well. Highkey- I loved Nakajima Kento in this role more than his famous role in The Black Devil and the White Prince.
Music: N/A
Rewatch Value: Would def rewatch when i'm sad or happy because it has no drama and LOTS of fluff!!!
Other Notes: Overall, I was interested in the movie because of he plotline and it amazed me and I fell in love with the movie. Really wish they can remake into a drama!!!

Li Hongyi stole the show with his visuals and everything else was trash lol

I only watched this for Zhao Lusi and Li Hongyi and for me this was a disappointment.
Zhao Lusi's character was very very flat. She didn't add anything to the series/story other than being the victim and the main problem. Tbh I don't think she had any major character growth at all. Which is disappointing but this is one of the earlier series for Zhao Lusi's career. I also hated how much her character went back and forth between them.
Li Hongyi was pretty great in his role and wow I was blown away by his beauty.
I still don't know how I feel about Xiao Bai tbh; like he was such a shitty character but I guess the writers were trying to go with that for the greater good or for you love kind of conflict.
And all the other characters were quite unsignificant and boring tbh.

Sadly, a disappointment.

Great comfort rewatch show with best theme song

I recall watching this series a couple years back and it seriously is the best.

The epic theme song is addicting and goes with the series so well.

Satoh Takeru is such an amazing actor and he was great in this series. He and Watabe Atsuro have such good chemistry together as partners and a father-son duo. I loved all their funny and heartwarming moments together.
The whole cast was so goofy and they all had amazing chemistry!

Overall, this is a gem and a great comfort rewatch show.

Great Heartwarming Drama

I'm pretty sure this drama gives everyone Descendants of the Sun vibes but to be honest I enjoyed this drama more.

The storyline was pretty well paced and Iliked how the story progressed.
My favorite thing about the series was that the viewers got glimpses of Kelei's life as a SWAT officer and MiKa's life as a doctor. We also got to see them in a Earthquake relief situation which I enjoyed watching. It was quite informative and fun to watch their personal lives. In my opinion, this aspect was quite different compared to other Chinese modern dramas. I can tell the writers put in a lot of effort into the storyline.

I also enjoyed all the relationships between all the couples. They were super cute and adorable especially Kelei and MiKa!! Honestly, I thought the drama between Wenbo and Qingxia dragged on a bit but they quickly got together and were really adorable- especially Wenbo, its so funny how dense he is lol.

Kelei's sickness kind of came as a surprise for me but it got solved pretty quickly; I really thought they might go the memory-loss route but they didn't so I was wondering what they were planning for the rest of the series. I can say though that they did a great job especially with the ending and it went full circle- which was kind of predictable but good for our hearts lol.

Moving on to the actors; they all did so good in their roles. Bai Jing Ting has such a baby face so I know it might be hard for viewers to see him in a tough guy role but he actually did a phenomenal job !! We got to see him as the hardcore SWAT Captain and the cutie boyfriend.
Honestly i'm not a big fan of Ma Si Chun but she's a good actor for sure.

Overall this drama was a sweet, romantic slice of life series that had no drama (which some might say it can be boring but in my eyes I loved the healthy relationships across the series).

Perfect relaxing and entertaining travel reality show

Honestly this show was so fun and I wish it didn't have to end so soon!

Whoever casted all the members deserves a raise! Because most of the members are new into the variety realm so its nice to see new people.
Kim Jongkook is not old to reality shows but it's a gem to see him outside of Running Man!
I was first introduced to Ji Hyunwoo through his drama Queen Inhyun's Man and seriously I love his personality. He gives off such a romantic and sweet vibe! His personality showed throughout the series and he really is a lot like the people of Denmark- calm and peaceful.
Joo Woojae is such a goofball and is seriously so funny without even doing anything.
I wish we were able to see more of Hwang Daeheon's personality but he seems like the very quiet type but he got along well with all the older members despite being the youngest one.
And my favortive member was Noh Sanghyun; at the beginning he was so quiet and polite but later into the series he showed all of his charms! He is competitive, smart, and seriously so goofy. He showed so many funny sides of himself and you can tell he was having the time of his life.

All the members have such chemistry together and they have great teamwork when selling everything.
The show really showed the beauty and charm of Denmark and it really makes me want to visit Denmark one day!
I fell in love with the members and the atmosphere and land of Denmark.

To sum up the series in a few words- travel, relaxing, games and bets, family, adventure and bromance.
This is a must watch especially if you enjoy relaxing Korean variety shows.
