had potential but was really rushed

This BL series had so much potential tbh. I have not seen the webtoon yet so this is like my first time watching this and didn't know what to expect. It started off strong but felt flat as it progress. The plot was really rushed. Like I didn't even know when did Lee Da Yeol felt that archery was exhausting to him and he wanted to quit it. It felt out of the blue when he said he wanted to quit it or when Jo Tae Hyun felt disgusted of Lee Da Yeol in one scene and in the next scene he is running to him making up the most bizzare excuse which I have ever heard. Like it was so ridiculous that I wanted to punch him for sprouting that nonsense. Also I didn't like how Lee Da Yeol forgave him so easily. Like the time said it was two years but it felt like 2 months. Like making the girl who was so irrelevant the bridge in their love again out of the blue and with the excuse of being drunk that Lee Da Yeol was crying for Jo Tae Hyun like that was so stupid. like it was two years. If it was two month I would understand and again he forgave him so easily, like after what he did begging,crying and pleading would have been the minimum what he could have done and finally toward the end, it was just lackluster. I don't even know what the point of that was. Idk if they have just started dating which I don't think they are but they were acting like 5 year old who were out in a first date. Too much being shy and being a tsundere and teasing. Finally the thing I fucking hate about every BL series is the teasing of a kiss. I am fine with not getting a kiss at all but teasing it is what really push my buttons and they gave us finally with an ear kiss lmao which I didn't even think the lips were even touching the ear lmao. Don't do this. If you are not going to give us a kiss then don't half-ass it. A tight hug while sleeping would have been 10 times better than this. Like I said the plot was really rushed. It didn't give time at all for us to be in dept with the characters. I feel like it could have been better with 10 episodes with 40 min each. The actors did well ig. There was chemistry and they did the characters justice and the ost was nice. Overall it was kinda disappointing but it was cute I guess.

Never let me go? wish I did

GMMTV did it again. They produced another mid BL. I am still surprised this was the same company that created Not me,Bad duddy and MSP. I guess it has more misses than hits. Anyways, I never have been more bored, have rolled my eyes so much that they went to the back of my head or dreaded to watch a series so much. I literally watched the last few episodes at 2x speed and that was still slow. At first, I liked it but then it keep going off track that the train now is in the bottom of the ocean. The plot holes in this series puts swiss cheese to shame. At first I could turn a blind eye in the first few episodes but then it keep getting worse and worse and especially when it came to the serious parts, it was not even taking itself seriously anymore. They couldn't work out the timing when to have a romantic, serious and sad moments. During a very serious moment they would have a romantic moment and what not, it completely ruined the vibe. Also the problems in this series were often solve so easily, or the problem wasn't needed or it was completely forgotten. Like for example and spoiler when Palm's dad gets captured and Nueng main reasons to go back was to free his dad but he completely forgets about him. Until Palm get driven to an edge and then he frees him which was very easy to do. or the fact that they didn't to run away for so long in the first place because Nueng could easily come back and be a boss and hire bodyguards which he did. The plot was basically not there. It was like the directors were writing a script out of their asses as the series was filming lmao. Now the acting, is pretty mid. Pond was kinda okay but Phuwin acting or how he deliver his dialog always make it seem like he was angry or trying to pick or fight. Both of them lack emotion I think what is I am trying to say. Need a lot of work. Now the music choice was just laughable. They played a country song and christmas songs during serious or romantic moments. I was just laughing my ass off. I couldn't take it seriously at all. This was really a disappointment. I was really looking forward to it but in the end I was just dying for it to finish.

This is a biased review tbh

I jump into this without knowing the sypnosis of the special episode, so my disappointment is immeasurable and my day was ruined. I was expecting more scenes of the main couple as an actual couple cause we didn't get that in the first season but what we got was the backstory of the ex......Like sure its nice to know about it but to make it a special episode like really? It should have been included in the first season tbh. So that we can get a idea why Yu Zhen likes him so much. They made an entire episode dedicated to the ex and what enraged me more was that the ex and Yu Zhen had more chemistry and couple scenes than Yu Zhen and Lei Lei had in the entire series combined. Sure sure you can put the backstory of the ex but is there a need to make it a whole episode? 10 mins is more than enough and the rest of the time we should get Yu Zhen and Lei Lei as a couple. Honestly disappointed but tbh its a great story of the ex and Yu Zhen but still I don't want to see it. I fast forward it till the part of Lei Lei cause I was uncomfortable. So this is a biased review, this shouldn't affect you in any way from watching it. I just wanted to vent out.

A beautiful and realistic drama

This series show what a person deals with who is part of the lgbtq community. This is what you call an lgbt series and not really a bl. Since this show is not only lovely dovey sweet and all things goes well. It tackle in real life problems that many marriage faces. I loved the realism that this drama bought. The characters also are so well written. They are not flawless, they make mistakes and they learn from it and they reconcile. The actor that was recasted did an amazing job. I feared that he may not live up to it since the previous Jerry's actor already was so great but he did so well. All the actors really did a splendid job. Except maybe for Jimmy. His characters come off as really unnatural. His english is really not smooth and his acting is really mediocre but it is a kid actor so it is excused. This was a really wonderful series. A rare case that the sequel does better than the prequel.

Amazing, simply amazing.

I am just adored by this drama. The suspense, story and plot twist were all done so well. I couldn't easily predict what was going to happen the next episode and just gave up predicting after a while. The story is done so well and I loved that the characters are not top class geniuses like they have prepared their whole life to know what to do in these type of situations. They are normal, everyday human beings that have flaws. Especially In joo, she is like a normal person who got dragged into this mess. It brings a little sense of realism. All the actors did so well in their roles. Especially Kim Go Eun did such a splendid job. The despair and happiness felt so real in the show. The other actors did a spectacular job too. This is must watch, if you like action, thriller and suspense. No boring episodes. It would always leave you at the edge of your seat.

A beautiful mess

I really loved this series. The plot is outstanding and unique. I haven't watched this kind of series before. I loved how it went from a simple cute story to getting more complicated and complicated later on. At first I thought this will just be another love triangle series but no, it is more complicated than that. It made me gleeful, sad, anxious and rageful as the series progress. It was up to the point I have this uncontrollable urge to destroy something and my pillow was sadly the unwilling victim. But as it reached the end I came into a feeling of acceptance and was satisfied with the ending. I loved that we finally got the pov of Makki. Throughout the first half of the series we didn't know what was Makki feeling, since it was in the pov of Mieko but when it was in his pov we actually came to know that he wasn't fine with anything that was happening. It was eating him inside and he just had to escaped. Thought it wasn't the right thing to do, but we came to understand him. I loved that he got his own happy ending. The acting was splendid. They all did so well. Especially Makki's actor through the last few episodes. Now the rewatch value is kinda low because of what happened with Eiji. That just made feel rage and bitterness that whenever I see Mieko and Eiji in the same room together, it just makes me unreasonably angry. Even after they had talked with Makki.Like all those scenes with him and Mieko just made feel hate and bitterness, I can't watch it. Especially the part with the parents. But still this is a wonderful, unique and beautiful series. I love it so much.

Sweeter than honey

Let me start by saying this, I had no expectations for this BL. I thought it would be boring,lack plot,bad acting, bad singing,meh chemistry and everything because it was produced by GMMTV and they are pretty infamous for their meh BLs lately and I thought of not watching their series anymore but I have never been proved more wrong. It is literally so good. All the classic BL clique that you hate like miscommunication, forced affection, cold ml, evil mother, exaggerated unrealistic highschool life etc etc etc but this doesn't have any of that. It was fresh to see the ML to pursue to other ML for a change. The couple in the series are literally the greenest flag I have ever seen in my life. They communicate, they flirt, they don't to each other and they are always there for eachother. And the chemistry is so amazing. The actors Gemini and Forth did so well to do their characters justice. I will be watching their other series to come definitely. Now the songs are all so fucking good. I for one don't really like songs that are sung in series and most of the time would forward them. But these actors can sing really well. I am really amazed.

Not bad but not good either

The show is unique I'll tell you that but the plot is very confusing. Sometimes I don't even understand the point of conflict. Like even till now I don't get what Cha Jung Woo did so bad that they cancelled him from the writing, they acted like he killed a man or something. Also they do something in the series, just so they could cancel that thing and do another thing, like it was laughable to me, like they build all that tension for what. But I would say they did the gaslighting part very. Even I thought that Jung Hyun was a good guy until much much MUCH later in the series. Now the acting is done well, I have no complains against it. The main leads chemistry was good and Tae Young's smile is soo cute. Half of the reason why I watched this was because of him lol. The music was really good. Overall it is a good series I guess but it is a bit confusing.

A slow but great drama

This drama is kinda slow so to anyone who wants to watch this should have a little bit of patience since in some episodes nothing was really happening. But despite that, the story is great. Its refreshing. Its tells the story of an intersex person who got gender reassigned into a male. It does well in showing the troubles and hardships of someone going through this. Also, they handled the romance really well by making the guy fall in love with both Wen-Wen and Amber. They made Le chien fall in love with Amber without knowing he was wen wen. The story about the second lead also is nice and its nice to see that the female character is not evil or has like little to no importance in this drama. The actors were also so great and did the characters justice. They portrayed the characters emotions very well. No cringy or overacting. The music of this drama is also so nice. The ost they played when the 'moments' come made the moments even more sad or cute. This drama is really good. Though it is slow which is the reason it has like low rate but its still great.

Bitter and Sweet

This gotta be one of the best JBL. The plot is interesting and well written. I loved how it clearly tells us what kind of series this would be. That it would have a sad ending that would make us cry buckets. But did that made it hurt less? No, it actually hurt even more because it makes us hopeful that maybe all will be happy even though there is a very slim chance of that happening. Also by the end, I loved how we see the POV of the other character, it makes that things that we have witness even more impactful and finally I loved that the pacing is good. It wasn't rushed, it wasn't slow and we only focused on these two characters. Now the acting is just phenomenal. Both the actors portrayed their characters really well and also they are not afraid to kiss. Japanese Bl is infamous for its dead fish kiss but here, the actors actually kiss properly. So that amazed me. The ost was so nice. It set the mood for the series really well. Overall this is a really great bl. A unique plot, great acting and great ost. Beautifully well done.

It's good overall but not perfect.

Let me start by saying that this is a great series. The cast,music and cinematography was great. But the only issue I had was the plot. It was really messy. The characters in this series,you can say never use their brain,or most of them never questions this and that and just is okay with it the next day. Sometimes it just doesnt make sense. But KP is definitely more bold and outstanding than most Bls these days. Though some episode were weaker than others and didn't make sense why this and that happened or why it happened or why these characters are behaving this way and why is no one questioning anything and why is no one using a brain and why are some of these people super human,that they don't die when they are shot 3-5 times or can take a whole mob of more that 10 people with guns with their fist. But it was great overall.

The most meh series I have watched

To be honest, this drama had a good start. The premise was nice. It was like cindrella but it failed to execute it. It failed to make the characters and the series interesting. Some of the episodes weren't needed and it was dragged so much. The middle episodes were really boring and I almost dropped it(wish I had). They didn't handle the character Theo properly. From episode 1 till the last episode he had no character development or anything and stayed the same as he was. And tbh he didn't deserve Akk. He never spoke his mind to Akk, never appreciated him, and was a kinda a bad boyfriend and friend. And the most sad thing about this was that Akk just took it. He was never really mad at Theo for his actions. Like even when Theo referred to Akk as his friend infront of his friend. He just took it and took care of him. Sure, Akk shouldn't be mad at the moment since Theo was sick and was sad about his parents divorce but Theo should have apologized!! Theo is literally a selfish brat. And the ending is the most stupid ending ever lol. Going to france again? seriously? That is the most meh ending in the history of endings. Also the way they patched things up with Theo and Akk relationsip was also the meh thing i have ever scene. Everyone gets back together, happiness, rainbow and other shit.

This series got me screaming like a 12 year old girl and I am neither a girl nor 12. I feel robbed, betrayed and sad that this wonderful series have only 5 episodes. I NEED MORE. I NEED MORE of Nozue and Tagawa. They are so flipping cute. Like omg I can't believe people in their 30s can be this cute. If you liked Cherry Magic then you would liked this even 10 times more. This actually surpassed cherry magic and its no.1 bl in terms of Jp bl. Which i though was not possible but this series surpassed all expectations and climbed even higher. Being shy and hiding your feelings? none of that here, dragging things till the last episode? no sir, cringy acting? fuck no. The acting,ost and story was overall 10/10 for me. The flirting, the tension and kiss was all so *chef kiss*. If you don't give this a watch, you are messing out something great.

This show had potential but it was a train reck. The only redeeming quality this show are the attractive main leads and that they are good at acting, also the cameo from Be loved in house:I do and MODC was also nice. Other than that, it literally garbage. The plot was basically not there. The story should have focused on the two main leads and try to tell the story about how its hard to move from a friend to a lover. It should have focused on Fu li Gong and Ze Shou only but instead, this series was a split between two stories. Their story and the other couple, Washing machine and shampoo commercial. These two stories didn't even interact with each other. It was like I was watching two series. And to make it worse, the second couple was the most boring, cheesy and basic thing I have ever scene. I skipped all of their scenes so I won't go much about them. But they were too boring to pay interest to. I would liked it more if we learn more about Li Gong and Ze shou. About Li Gong's internal issues with dealing with his feeling for his best friends and Ze Shou's problem with marriage and with his mother. But no, because there was these unnecessary boring second couple taking the screen time. They also created drama for no reason at all. Like when Li Gong broke up with Ze shou, when his father didn't even say anything or when Nakita confessed to Li Gong when she had shown no interest in Li Gong at all. The way they made Ze shou's mother seem like a big issue but she was not relevant to the story at all. She wasn't there, we didn't even saw her once. But Ze shou's dad just made him guilty for nothing, for not caring about his death beat mom who left. Like bitch who would care. And when she died, the bitch ass dad made it seem like it was Ze shou's fault lol and to make it worse, to crown this dad of the year, he acted like it was none of his fault when Ze shou and Li gong broke up lol. Plot is basically a mess. It was like it was written by a 12 year old in wattpad who doesn't know how to create drama and angst well. Now the acting, I had no complain with the acting expect shampoo commercial/Yuki's actor, he was stiff like a rock. Other than him others were fine I guess. The OST was ok. I would only rewatch this series for the sex scene and their kisses, other than that, no reason to watch this shit show.
