28. Something you want to see more in dramas. In legal dramas, a more legally accurate plot.In the hearings and…
Good point! OG Suits was very entertaining. Haven't seen any of the Asian adaptations or other legal shows except for Extraordinary Attorney Woo with the main character a savant on the autism spectrum. The legal part was oversimplified but her progression was heartwarming. For a show that did great combining legal and entertainment, I'd choose The Good Wife(2009). Julianna Marguiles is π«Ά.
Better written script. Cohesive book to screen adaption. The reality of the world is that financial gains trump…
Yes to both! There is only so much actors can do with poorly written scripts. As for adaptations, the best ones I've seen were those having the OG authors involved in the screenwriting coz even if alterations were made due to the change in medium but the essence remained true.
28. Happy endings πI've seen my fair share of tragic endings so I'm fine with it as long as it makes sense.…
Sometimes we just need that feel-good story and happy ending to restore our faith in fictional worlds. Great that you have animes for that burst of joy when you needed it most.
Fewer senseless rules which seem to take us back to the 70s instead of 202x
For real! TTEOTM, LYF, and many more.
I understand the part of discouraging the padding of dramas coz others were admittedly rampant with this to make more money, but there is no need to set a limit though. Some stories esp.xianxias just need more eps coz of its complexity.
27. A 2024 drama too few people watched"The legend of Taotie"(2024) . The drama was shelved for 4 oor 5 years.…
Really too bad about the censorship and super late releases. There are some dramas from 2017-2018 that I really want to see but I think they have been permanently shelved. π’
Why is Silent so familiar? Haha I might have seen this one but just forgot...
"Go back in time and kill him." Why not go back in time and change him instead π Already says enough about…
TTJ is not a regular human who can be changed/reformed easily. He was born with the evil bone and is the vessel for ADG (think of him as a horcrux). Regardless of whether he wants to be evil or not, his death will turn him into the next Devil God. Later on, you will see LSS will eventually try to help him to try to avoid that fate.
There are actually several timelines. You can check out the diagram to help you out:https://mydramalist.com/discussions/hei-yue-guang-wen-na-be-ju-ben/92531-till-the-end-of-the-moon-world-view-timeline-logic
Haha that's alright. We had a lot of discussions about this, too. π
It's complex but to simplify: There are three main time points: 10,000 years ago --- 500 years ago --- Present (immortal arc in ep.1)
Timeline 1 ADG( original DG) died but left his evil bone --- TTJ (OG TTJ) was born with this evil bone and died thus becoming DG1.0 ---evil DG1.0(the one with red highlights in ep.1) annihilated everyone except for LSS. In this timeline, he continues to live on.
Timeline 2 X --- LSS goes back 500 years in time to prevent annihilation and many events happened --- future is changed

Churan looks beautiful with the soft make-up and Chenglei is handsome with that styling (love his hair pin)

We're on ep.3 now. These kid actors are hitting this out of the ballpark. πππ

I won't add more to prevent spoilers.
It's good that you are taking a breather every now and then.
