You mean Xixi's Follow Your Heart? It probably drew inspiration/elements from Beauty Inside like the ML's face blindness and the FL's regularly changing appearance.
The Beauty Inside(2012) is a US social internet series developed by Intel and Toshiba with this concept. It was adapted into a full length Korean movie The Beauty Inside(2015) and later a Kdrama of the the same name(2018). I didn't watch the Kdrama but I saw the OG series and the Kmovie. They give a very interesting look into how we perceive human relations, love, etc. based on appearances/age.

It is pretty isolated hehe You have to take a plane to Shanghai, then fly down to Hengdian, take a taxi to Jinhua, and get on that shuttle to the actual filming site. I still wanna go 😂🤡
