What is the last scene? Ttj seems he becomes like god? Or he could be reincarnated? I HEARD the ending of the…
In the last scene, it shows that the essence of TTJ was left in the Heart Guarding Scale as we can see him in that "space". Typically in xianxias, a little bit of essence left can grow and make the character exist again so this gives hope. There are many interpretations though.
The novel ending is a little different but somewhat similar. It has a BE for the main story and 5 HE chapters after that. You can read them in the discussions if you want aside from drama ending discussion post . π
Everyone has the right to hold their own opinion... and this is just my opinion. Personally, I prefer not to compare…
Agreed. Gender bias is real. Why is the FL making the salvation of everything a priority not considered heroic and praiseworthy? If she doesn't go through with the mission, she will be lambasted as well. What to do, what to do? πππ
Etto...It seems like this drama is too complicated for some people.I will not blame them. If they were looking…
Agreed. Some people cannot seem to comprehend the concepts within this drama. This has never been labeled as a romcom (nothing against romcoms) so I don't know what people expected. I personally liked how they featured an antihero and a heroine who knows how to stick to her guns or nine slaying nails in this case. π
First, this drama was adapted from a DARK ROMANCE novel literally entitled, "Black Moonlight Guaranteed Bad Ending Script". If that does not clue you in, let me spell it out for you. It means the main story is going to have a bad ending.
Second, on the toxicity of the ML and FL, the drama does not even compare to how cruel these characters are to each other in the novel. I do not defend toxic relationships in real life but this fictional premise is set up for the characters to hate and love in equal measures. Li Susu, who saw the annihilation of the sects and the destruction caused by Devil God, was sent back to kill evil fetus Tantai Jin. While drama Tantai Jin is more sympathetic, it doesn't remove the fact that his existence means eventual destruction. Li Susu is ruthless because their love, hate, and personal desires are secondary compared to the saving of the Three Realms.
Xianxias are influenced by the philosophies of Taoism and Buddhism thus showing concepts like Yin and Yang, severing worldly desires to attain immortality, and living in harmony with the universe.
Third, I personally thought the editing of the first quarter of the drama was on point but suffered from occasional editing issues after that due to the regulation change. However, the story was mostly intact and comprehensible.
Fourth, the acting of most of the cast is unassailable. The CGI, make-up, costumes, OST, etc. are incidentals.
Lastly, many of us here watched TTEOTM and know that it has its highs and lows. We love it because, even with its flaws, it resonates with us.
We all have the right to express our opinions but seeing a regurgitation of negative rhetoric is just disturbing. On the other hand, a healthy discussion is always welcome. Peace and love!βοΈ π
P.S. For those who are traumatised by the drama ending, the HE chapters from the novel are in the discussion. π
Hats off to the hundreds of people making up the cast and crew of TTEOTM For going against the typical, For the hours of research and prep work, For filming for 5 months and 10 days in tough conditions, For the literal blood, sweat and tears you have shed to bring us this drama.
It is an imperfectly perfect work that has become dear to the hearts of many. Thank you!
https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSL11eDWo/This is hilarious.Rough translation :LYX : Lulu done changing?BL : This is made…
This is why I could not take the clam princess seriously because I saw this clip before the airing. That "Ming Ye, are you there?!" is hilarious. There is another one with Bailu and other people wearing this clam contraption. π€£π€£π€£
Has anyone seen the Special TVOD on the Youku app? What's it all about? it has an additional subscription/payment…
I just finished watching it. It is a 39:23 long video that contains LYX and Bailu's commentary on their various characters interspersed with behind the scenes footage as they talk through the different story arcs.
I love YunLu so I thought it was worth watching how they interpreted the characters and explained their actions. I am still hoping Youku will release bonus eps. I am a π€‘. πππ

Wangluo shuijun, or βinternet water armies" on Douban and Weibo are paid trolls so that removes any legitimacy from their reviews. π€π€π€

After all, hate keeps ADG alive. π€£π€£π€£
