The machine translated ones are bad but the ongoing translation by SecondLifeTranslations is pretty good although it is only up to Ch.78. https://secondlifetranslations.com/novel/black-moonlight-holds-the-be-script/ It is easy to read but the novel is way darker(in terms of evil deeds) than the drama. You will get the internal dialogues of the character which will help you understand their actions even if you might disagree with them. There are parts that the novel did better (RIP Curved Jade) but drama did well in streamlining some parts of the story. Although I must say I dislike how drama changed the characterizations so much and added unnnecessary characters (looking at you Mo Nv and undead Di Mian). 😂
Novel TTJ did all sorts of evil but he didn't rape YXW. They both drank Silk Knot Springworm(an aphrodisiac that acts more like a poison made by the Yiyue Tribe). TTJ drank the only antidote so he only got the urges without the pain. YXW on the otherhand experiences extreme physical and mental agony every time the poison hits. If she resists, the time between painful attacks shortens so eventually they had sexual relations every 15th of the month.

Yup noticed it. Same thing for the LSS outfits in Jing town. She kept switching from her pretty pink dress to a white dress. She was wearing the pink dress during their talk and on the bridge (she said, "Let's go. We have a parade to watch.") then she was suddenly wearing a white dress during the festival but TTJ was wearing the same fit. 😂
