Haha that he was! I remember thinking if Jinmi doesn't want you, I do! ππ€‘
I haven't finished a lot of xianxias either. TMOPB was literally the first Cdrama I watched. I saw LBFAD but not Starry Love. I'll check it out after TTEOTM. π
Same! I wanted to watch AOL but I couldn't. I had to FF a lot but I do remember how awesome LYX was in it. I watched Love is Sweet when it aired because of him.
If that demons are harming people then yeah its ok to kill them, if they are good ones then no, so i guess depends…
Someone asked what gives the police the right to catch bad guys. I said it's the law because the police are legally given the right to enforce them. I didn't say these laws are just.
He had a harsh life. That was the only way he could boost his power. Also, there was no one to protect him. He…
Does a harsh life give someone the right to harm/kill others?
Haha nevermind! I should totally stop playing devil's advocate here in the comments section. π€£π€£π€£
I appreciate all your comments! It is good to reflect on other peoples' points. May we continue to be open-minded and have healthy discussions (even if we have different opinions). Cheers mates! πβοΈ
So if he killed the nightmare demon but didn't absorb her power he'd be a good guy in your eyes?If he killed the…
If we are going to be absolute, killing is wrong --- regardless of whether the person/demon is "good" or "bad". The absorption doesn't even matter because the action preceding it is already wrong. I know there are instances when killing is justifiable but frankly, my main point is that TTJ is not a saint or blameless. He is flawed like other characters. I don't need him to be immaculate. This drama would not be the same if he were. It would have been nice though if our viewing lenses were not skewed so much by the drama team so we can get a balanced POV. Imagine the angst and emotional payoff! We still have the immortal realm so let's see how they do.
Even immortals [LLS's KIN] were genociding the whole demon tribe in ep 30 is that morally right? In the future,…
I am not criticizing TTJ. I have always seen him as a morally gray character. I posed this question to make people think of how they define "evil".
You said TTJ didn't commit genocide but isn't the killing of a large number of demons to get their powers genocide?
Immortals have mostly been hypocrites in xianxias that I watched. That is why it is good that this drama pointed that out in ep.30. What gives an individual or a race the right to wipe out another one?
If that demons are harming people then yeah its ok to kill them, if they are good ones then no, so i guess depends…
If the demons are harming people in accordance to their nature, does TTJ have the right to eliminate them and use their powers for his purpose? What gives him that right? π€
FOOD for THOUGHT: For those who think TTJ is not evil, have you ever thought about where he gets his powers from? He got his first taste of power after consuming the dream/nightmare demoness. He continues to have more power after that so much so that he can even wage war mostly on his own in the battlefields. Is killing demons and refining/devouring their powers morally okay? If so, what makes it different from killing humans, immortals, etc.?
These are my thoughts and can be quite controversial, so-Quite frankly i dont see Susu's love. I see her dedication…
Li Susu doesn't have to love him. She doesn't need to tell him she loves him. She is literally an assassin sent to kill him. It is futile because at the end of the day, her mission comes first. Her love(or lack thereof) is secondary in the face of the destruction of the realms.
I think it is really easy to sympathize with TTJ. The drama has been set up that way. I am guessing the director and writers team are going for the ultimate angst in the last stretch. Don't worry. We will see Li Susu suffer.
not to damper the mood but some of yβall are getting way too comfortable showing your misogyny here. as always…
Thank goodness Li Susu was the one sent on a mission. Despite having inner conflicts, she was able to push through with it to stop the annihilation of the sects. She literally changed the future and even TTJ for the better. If a TTJ fan was sent, the realms would have been doomed and Hundun would be a sure thing. π€¦ββοΈπ π
It's so good to see Kim Sabu and the Doldam team back! π Ep.1 was tight! The tension created by the screenwriting, acting, directing, and even the transitions was chef's kiss!

The police are backed by laws. The legal system is there to create a semblance of order and maintain peace in society.
