Yup! She and most of the characters not likable. Saw some comments about these reprehensible actions being needed for character growth... uhmmm not really. 🤣🤣🤣 Made it to ep.4 and heard even more questionable stuff happening in ep.5 so it's a no for me. 😅😂
Interestingly enough there was a series called Hilarious Family (2023) similar in premise of a widowed mother trying to marry off her four daughters, but the writing was so different and way better than PM. That IMO is a family dramedy - funny and touching at the same time without being too forced.
The long family dramedy that I liked was a kdrama called "What Happens To My Family?" This one is an oldie but a goodie.

31. I found TTEOTM fascinating because it showed the contrasting perspectives of how life experiences' can influence one's own (and others) for better or worse. On one side, we have ADG who thought that having his devil fetus not having love threads but experiencing the harshest treatment will create the bitterest, evilest version of his future incarnation. On the other side, we have LSS, who through her intervention, inadvertently awakened TTJ's love threads and made him experience the true gamut of emotions but made him the most compassionate one instead. As we can see from the timelines, both end games could be achieved but the main point is giving TTJ the facility of choice being the gamechanger. In the end, TTJ reached enlightenment that life in its sorrows doesn't have to make one embittered or emotionally cut-off. Instead, the mixture of pain and joy can make us appreciate life more. On top of that, love is a great catalyst that can transform, strengthen, and challenge one to go beyond what is expected.
I do wish more happiness and laughter to all of us Moonies. May your bellies always be full, your coffee be strong, your smiles even stronger, your sleep be peaceful, and your hearts filled with joy. 🥰😘💕
