TBL just released the final four eps yesterday. Enjoy!Just a head's up. Don't read the novel before finishing…
The drama writers decided to go extra bigbrained so they deviated a lot in the last part but it created loopholes. They tried but it was a shame coz they were doing so well when they followed the novel's logic. For pure drama watchers, it might strike differently.
Feng yao! When I said from the beginning that she love NXY but keep pretending lol... They look good here and…
Perhaps FY was denying her feelings coz she knows how fruitless it would be considering NXY's disposition. LOL at the 5% forgiveness. π€£ Definitely, it'd be a fulfillment if they get to do a modern version with their HE.
Our leads really play off well each other. Hoping for a 2nd collab. Didn't get to watch Bin2's Song of the Moon. Perhaps, others who've seen it can chime in... π
I've watched pretty much every interview and event they did together and they really do have a lot of chemistry…
Yes, their chemistry is really good. Zhenni needed to explain so many slangs/memes to 2G Binbin. At first he was chiding "little friend for saying nonsense" then he gave up and accepted all the new expressions. In their latest interview, he seems updated already. π€£π€£π€£

Same same. I seriously am trying to reevaluate and choose parts of the last stretch of the drama that I like coz I loved the first 3/4 of it. π Despite some failings, it is still one of the best xianxias in years though.
So I'm not going to say that everything made perfect sense but to me (and I didn't read the novel just going off…
The problem doesn't lie in TMS learning emotions/empathy. Him learning those, choosing the greater good, cooperating with MXL and DLZM, and eventually destroying destiny for free will are great higher ideals. I liked some points made. But there are writing and execution problems with contradictions based on previously set logic and dialogues. It would take too long to go over each and I don't want to rewatch eps just to prove those inconsistencies. More importantly, instead of showing the acceptance of a multi-faceted character, the writers insist on emphasizing the distinctions of the fragments like you said about FYΓTMS and A Zhu/MXLΓZM/XXC. Having realization of one's grayness but choosing to act morally is divine. Isn't this what AZ said made ZM different from the Divine Clan? Thus a merged DL ZM with a redemption arc would have suited MXL more as they are now the complete and realized versions of themselves. The way the writers also addressed how to kill HT is problematic and convoluted. Explaining why that won't work based on causality would take a whole essay. π It is what it is though. I still like the drama for the most part.

You don't have to and I won't either. π TH's original punishment for CP getting emotions was divine retribution (typical lightning punishment in xianxia) - enough to hurt but not to kill her. He kept giving chances to CP and TMS (even warning against self-destruction) so TH was not gonna wipe out those two children of chaos if he could avoid it. This is just my take. Let's agree to disagree. βοΈ

TMS is not a person so human actions cannot be used as an example to give him motivation to rally against TH 10,000 years ago. He literally said he and CP shouldn't care about the ebb and flow of races/creatures. He is emotionless and even going through reincarnation still barely understands human emotions. This attachment to CP is justified coz of their origin story. However, CP and him won't be destroyed even if the corrupted realms are destroyed by TH since they are the order system of their universe. Think of it as TH doing an anti-virus sweep to get rid of the virus but the system still stays with order restored. This show was good at dropping hints/foreshadowing before. Mostly because they followed the novel until 3/4 of the drama so the logic held. They failed in this instance because they injected additional plots that don't serve those, wasted time on unnecessary scenes in the ZMΓAZ arc, didn't set some newly developed characterizations properly, and patched on the convoluted sentimental storyline with no proper payoff in the end. The romance was sidelined and these higher ideals are supposed to be appreciated. I am guessing they just didn't want TMS to be the ultimate bad guy. π I did say I wanted the trio to be in good terms in the end but this wasn't it.
Was ZM also resealed in the lava for the second time in the novel?ππ
No, he wasn't! After XXC merged with DL ZM, he went to MXL - who accepted him wholeheartedly. Then she had a showdown with TMS coz he was the root cause of their suffering. He lost and went to sleep (can't die coz of ancient artifact status hehe).
The ending of the novel was a bit rushed but made more sense coz of the original set-up and characterizations.
Somebody pls tell me what happened to demon lord zhao mingπ
DL ZM had to go through 10,000 years in the lava twice because of these crazy writers. ππ They didn't explain how XXC came to have the demonic power in Snow City in the last scene. Based on previously set logic, XXC would have had to go through the reincarnation cycle and die again to merge with and awaken DL ZM 2.0. Then DL ZM 2.0 would have to conceal his demonic power to go to Snow City to reunite with MXL. π€£

A modern collab between Zhenni and Binbin would be great, too! π₯°

Watch their interviews to see how hilarious and sweet they are together.

Imagine the mayhem on and off set if they are all together.
So that TTJ and LSS can see their son DFQC π€£π€£π€£
24. If there was a crossover between Till the End of the Moon and another series, which one would be the most exciting or fun?
