After ep.1, I finally found the time to watch ep.2-5. Ep 1 was an okay intro and things picked up in ep.2. Then Lulu unleashed her acting skills in ep.3 and it's a done deal that I will finish Moonlight Mystique after all. She really showed her acting refinement. Her line delivery in Ep.5 was impeccable! 👏👏👏 She is so beautiful in the episodes but her purity of face can be seen when she had the simplest hair styling and just wearing white robes.
This is a female-centric drama so the growth is really with Lulu's character so far, but ARP is holding his own. His acting is just right since he's supposed to be unfeeling at first but you can see changes in his regard for BaiShuo already. He is so pretty in some shots with his styling and purple robes. 🌌
The story is multi-layered and very thoughtful in some points. Lanling Sect is a letdown but the characters from the demons sects are interesting. 2FL is really ruthless now but will prolly have her redemption arc. This is a bit spoilery but it's minor so I'll share it. It was funny that Han Dong's zaddy villain characters in two ongoing dramas TBL and MM have been betrayed by his beloved disciples for their chosen sweethearts. Poor dude! 🤣🤣🤣
I will catch the rest of the drama after the eps have piled up. It's good!

Disliked the exaggerated acting of the minor characters for comic relief.
She has another role in this though and that one has grander costumes. We can look forward to that. 😁
