It might be the case that viewers are saying they have romantic chemistry looking at their bromance. For me any kind of intimacy specifically kisses seem forced between them ( not just in this series)

The chemistry between the leads seems more like old friends to me and not at all like lovers.
It seems as if two straights are trying to act for a role and their acting has a huge scope for improvement.
