Yes, When he wakes up after the first accident (and seeing the dream / what happened in the parallel work where they have been together since high school like he hopes) he is genuinely confused for a while on what his reality here is since the dream felt so real to him and that's the life he wanted (he even ask that when his back to his room from visiting Phu the first time). So it was his desperation after having the near death experience and seeing what he could have that made him run to Phu and go with that lie ---I guess in his mind it was a way to ''speed'' things up and get them to be close fast.
Would not recommend using this method the get close to your crush out of fiction :D :D
He only later finds out that the dream he saw was another reality and that there are many more that have come before and that will come after: Episode 8 talks about the parallel word stuff the most.

I truly enjoyed the series for the acting, the series was shot and directed beautifully (it has some amazing looking shots), and the plot is also interesting and mostly well executed in my opinion in what the series wanted to be and show. The main focus is on the romance and relationship between Cir and Phu, with some interesting fantasy elements sprinkled to add a little extra. All comes down to personal preferences in the end thou
But on thing you can be sure of is that BossNoeul chemistry is amazing

The uncut version has some scenes that are not in the cut version and scenes that are +18, the uncut version is on iQiyi and the normal/cut version was shown on AmarinTV

And I can see you point as well and you are totally valid in feeling like you do and can't even disagree that the series and story would have benefited from more episodes and time 100%. The story/premise and the actors deserved that for sure but we got what we got (and I enjoyed it a lot) and hope to see them on our screen again soon with something exciting :)

I can kinda see how some might feel this way about the show, but to be fair the main story/focus of the series was the love story between main CirPhu --> that IS the story here always was (having read the novel before I knew that coming in and got more than I hoped, but for those who did not I get why they might have expected something different).
Everything else is there to move that love story in one or another direction. Sure the premise of parallel worlds (that is really interesting and different element to many college bl stories) and other subplot opens up many possibilities and question (unanswered as well) but how can you answer all that in 10 episodes and still take enough time to tell the main story without it being lost in all other stuff.
The whole parallel world and it not being fully explained or finished kinda works for me, the whole premise is hard to understand and believe (it is supernatural) so why try to make it make sense with explanations that in the end might just come and bite you in the ass with more questions and complaints :D Even BlackCir is uncertain how and why this happens so how can we and from who, it just happens and jump in on the ride :D . Also gives our own imagination room to come up with scenarios.
That's such a minor point in the plot and series to me so I'm sad that it ruined the whole series for you, but we all see and consume things differently. To me the focus and point of the series was to tell the story of our main CirPhu ( I felt it was done and told well) and in telling that there are subplots to advance that story that are then left unanswered/unfinished because they have served their purpose for the main plot :D
