Title The Unclouded Soul Spoiler
SPOILER ALERT (I'M GOING TO SHARE ALL XIAOYAO & HONGYE PERSPECTIVE INCLUDING OTHER ANALYSIS - CREDITED FROM…
I feel that ten thousand years ago, Hong Ye himself couldn't have gone on living. When he drank the Jade Spring, he had already lost his mind; his Dao heart was shattered, and he no longer knew how to discern right from wrong in the world. He knew he had done wrong things but couldn't turn back. Xiao Yao knew this too, which is why she killed him, and he accepted his death. For Xiao Yao, one reason was to return to the present, and the other was that she couldn't go on living either. She also felt she hadn't fulfilled some of her responsibilities and couldn't change anything. She wanted t atone for her sins, so she entered the cycle of reincarnation to be born a human and experience the eight sufferings. Xiao Yao understood that this was the fated end for them in this lifetime.

Another reply:Sis,your explanation has helped me understand why Canglong had to kill Renye. If he hadn't killed him, he wouldn't have become the Demon King, and there would have been no second or third life.

Why complicate simple matters? In essence, the slaughter of humans by demons was the cause, and the humans' retaliation by slaying demons was the effect. Cang Long killing Hong Ye was a new cause, meant to give the demon race an explanation. Cang Long's suicide and reincarnation was merely his guilt over his lover. If viewed through the lens of racial conflict, it would mean the demon race owed the human race a karmic debt, which was then repaid through their subsequent decline. However, from Hong Ye's personal perspective, it was deeply unfair

From my understanding, if Hongye wasn't killed, he might not have been able to transform into a demon. When they arrived at the Yuli Spring, it was like reaching the depths of desire. Hongye drank the Yuli Spring water, which means that regardless of his previous actions, he ultimately couldn't let go of his obsession with becoming stronger. No matter the motive, before this, Xiao Yao and the human Hongye had already become adversaries of each other. If I didn't end Hongye's life at that moment, the Hongye who had drunk the Yuli Spring water would have suffered for a lifetime because of this karmic cycle, as he was inherently a kind person. However, Xiao Yao, as the monarch of the Dragon Clan, came for Hongye. It was her obsession with him that led to the deaths of the demon and human races. Therefore, in this lifetime, she could never be with Hongye. I think that besides making Hongye atone for the sins of the demon clan, Xiao Yao also did it so he Wouldn't have to bear the pain he carried as a human. Then, for her own atonement, Xiao Yao also fell into the cycle of reincarnation.

I don't quite get the concept of 'atonement,' but the fact that Xiao Yao gave half of her demonic power to Hong Ye to keep him from dying and told Long Yu to make Hong Ye the next Demon King-I think this was all for the sake of Hong Ye and Xiao Yao in the current timeline. After all, if Hong Ye had died as the Human Prince in that lifetime, there would have been no story that followed, and
so-called Möbius strip cycle would never have existed. The infinite cycle of cause and effect is the core of the story, but I feel the director and writers didn't do a good job of telling it

II. Hong Ye's Stance: As a prince of the human race, Hong Ye needed to protect his people Therefore, he needed…
Xiao Yao only couldn't let Hong Ye die. After she intervened, she asked, "Why didn't you dodge?" Hong Ye replied, "I owe you my life, and I must repay it." This shows she never intended to kill him. Later, she whispered tearfully, "You can't die. If you die, I can never go back." It's clear she wanted the present, not the events from ten thousand years ago. That's why I never doubted she would change after she returned; her return was her choice. If she had chosen to hold onto her hatred, she would never have come back to the future.

SPOILER ALERT (I'M GOING TO SHARE ALL XIAOYAO & HONGYE PERSPECTIVE INCLUDING OTHER ANALYSIS - CREDITED FROM…
II. Hong Ye's Stance: As a prince of the human race, Hong Ye needed to protect his people Therefore, he needed to find the Jade Spring to strengthen himself and fight against the demon race. Ten thousand years ago, the human race had a low status, which was not his fault. Long Zhi killed his family and clansmen, which made him hate the demon race even more. He did not hesitate to deceive Xiao Yao in order to find the Jade Spring lin fact, even if his family and clansmen had not been killed, he would still have sought the Jade Spring because he felt that he was not strong enough and wanted to be with Xiao Yao as an equal. This was Hong Ye's obsession. The way he found the Jade Spring might have changed, but the result should not have changed). Therefore, even though ne knew that the people around him had used despicable means to obtain the demon pearl, he acquiesced to and supported this behavior, and in the end, he even deceived the naive Long Yu. He was essentially a kind person, so making these decisions was extremely painful for him. However, he knew he needed to become strong, even if there was only a sliver of hope. So he drank the Jade Spring water. However, at this point, he and Xiao Yao were already on opposite sides. Even though they understood each other's love and pain, they could never be together. Therefore, having experienced her two previous lives, Xiao Yao helped Hong Ye escape her suffering in her own way. The result is already set, the Jade Spring is an inescapable destiny of reincarnation. Too busy, a bit rushed. Will continue writing later. #xiaoYaoxiaoyao #HouMinghao #Hongye #Tansongyun #XiaoYao

I. Xiao Yao's Stance: Xiao Yao transmigrated from three lifetimes to the first, because she broughe.. Drawing upon memories of her love from her two previous lives, this was also the first time she had seen her hair from her first life. What happened meant she was destined not to let Hongye disappear. My subordinates secretly murdered Hongye's family and clansmen, so I won't kill Bo.
Ren, Bo Ren died because of me. From Xiao Yao's perspective, because of the past.. The love and trust between the two generations of Hong Ye could not have predicted that the human Hong Ye would choose.. Choosing deception, as the leader of the dragon race, she must now bear the responsibility for saving... The consequences of killing the human Hongye led to a situation where he had to both kill and save him. (Here, the human Hongye drank the Jade Spring water alone, and his desire...) The fact that one exists even at the moment of death, regardless of their human identity, is related to their power The desire was for something, whether it was to make the human race stronger or to be able to be equal with Xiao Yao. Standing together, this is the outcome Yu Liquan desires; at this moment, the motive.. It's no longer important. Because they already knew the script from their past life, so.. In her first life, she transformed Hongye into a demon, partly out of guilt as the ruler of the dragon clan. First, she felt guilty; second, she knew Hongye's thirst for power, and third, she wanted to preserve love. Human life. Xiao Yao's obsessive love for Hong Ye led to the conflict between the human and demon races. Sacrifice, so her retribution is a continuous cycle within an infinite loop. To find Hongye, and to correct the sacrifices and desires that should not exist on this path. Hope. Even if the two hadn't met, the demon race and the human race would still have fought. Not only that, because desire never dies, and so too does the Jade Spring. Here I am.

I alter some wording when I repost on X
But I get you, I understand 😭😭 that's why I don't agree much about what happen during their first life.
i console myself with their photoshoot photo 😌😣🙁 it's literally painful and bittersweet you know. I felt like i will be hard to move on, aside from the fact i don't like much her mindset for some matter. I truly love them... i felt like their 3rd life before ep40 was the best since it's her first & his third without 1st memory... I'm not sure why... probably that one is the most sweet

(Spoiler alert!) Finishing up all episode 33-40 from late last night until today. I have so much words to say but I have rant enough on my X.
Anyway no matter what happen, I still love Xiaoyao and Hongye. Thank you Tan Songyun & Hou Minghao for brilliant acting. I fall deeply for their love story.

In this drama, since he want to create something fantasy with very human ground, that's why alot of thing is relatable. Bruh for 10yrs refining why their 1st life turn out to be something so unsatisfied.
Broken up lead character with
Hongye "Sorry."
Xiaoyao "Atone your sin, to be demon. Now it the best has been repaid."
This both words literally broken up their character, Hongye isn't wrong, it forced to used her, and Xiaoyao trying to balance but failed. Uhhh everything else is acceptable to me.
Those 3 demon isn't that cute when we go back to their past, they're so cruel especially Ao Hen. Sorry they deserve it.
Bingzhu character, is doom from beginning on my take. It's human start to harass him & sister, indeed it's demon took her but he only blame demon solely. At the same time, force by situation, he work for greedy emperor, having no choice his obsession towards killing demon is high & looking for Yuli Spring, too obedient. Pianpian, the moment Bingzhu know Pianpian isn't her anymore, being manipulate due to guilt, he hve no return anymore until he even force himself again to be a demon, something he hate the most. Ofc what a joke huh? The ending, atone their sin...we can't see but only from Xiaoyao narrative...hmm not sure enough or not...not matter. Her sister soul in pianpian body seem didn't hve any guilt? too happy... i wonder why they wrote it that way. At the end, Xiaoyao broken up the loop, no more loop i supposed, their final post with photoshoot said it all. Her and Hongye keep choose each other after experience it everything...huh ♥️♥️
