Had a potential but not anymore

This is a very realistic and honest review, I'm not into biased side.
Well this show actually had a potential to be "decent" but its hot mess after 12 episodes. Very disappointing.
First 4 episodes were kinda fine, we got to know the backstory and the relations of the Main and side characters but it went downhill from there I'd say.
Relationship between main leads is just not connected and is very random. You can't just relate to any character of this show, they just live in their own worlds where logic and rational thinking doesn't exist at all. FL got cheated because she never talked to her ex, ML's gf just left him without any word. No one in this show knows how to COMMUNICATE with each other, they just do whatever they want and even FL's mom is on that side, she just desperately wants her daughter get married despite her own marriage was failure and her both daughter's marriages were called off too, like who the hell would do that?
Just like how this show isn't getting any better we got salt in the wound, ML's dad. I get it, director wants him to look like he's leeching his son and making his life hard in any way possible but c'mon you could do it way better. His actions are very unnecessary and forced, popping out of nowhere and making extremely awkward situations that no one in the world can relate.
At last, the narration of this show is just pure disappointment. We barely get screentime of main characters and when they get it they're just into some drama that they love each other but can't be together. There's no character development in this show whatsoever, everyone's relationship with each other is problematic, no one is happy but everything somehow will be fine in the last episode after couple of moments. Just that's how it's gonna be.
Didn't expect anything much after reading the synopsis when this drama was about to be aired, just expected it to be average but here we are. Gave this drama chance because of Park Min Young, really liked her role in Whats Wrong With Secretary Kim, I think rom-com genre suits her better, not this forced melodrama, conflicted snoozefest.

The more you watch the less you'll know

After watching 3 episodes it just feels to me way overrated. You can tell the production and the casting are pretty good from a get go.
1st episode was pretty hooking and it felt so refreshing, relationship between Main leads felt so mysterious and I was actually wondering what really happened between them whole time, because they were introduced in a way that you didn't really care about others that much. Comedy also felt pretty fine, not overused and not forced. It felt like you've skipped 10 episodes from this drama and lost in the middle, that mysterious introduction actually made me want to know more about them and their relationship. I'd say this was actually pretty good idea and hooked a lot of people with it but sadly it just got worse from there.
Basically this drama has no Prologue but we only get to know Main Leads in the overly repeated flashbacks which felt so random and unnatural. It only leads to more and more confusion and just like salt on the wound, we get the toxic amount of cliches: sudden terminal illness, a love triangle that is pretty questionable, struggle of power. It just feels frustrating when something makes no sense and the more you watch it makes no sense even more, that's how it felt watching this drama. Episodes just felt longer more you watch, feels dragged too much. I don't know, I'm just not buying circle jerking between side characters, they look more important than main leads. These 16 episodes will probably feel like 60.

I can be wrong and I just hope this drama will prove me wrong.

Complete failure

Well actually this drama is a complete FAILURE, the summary seemed interesting before this drama aired but after watching almost 8 episodes its just a mess. Main characters are not developing, and their romance is just not connected, everything seems so random, and most importantly I don't even know what's the purpose of those annoying af support leads, they just seem pointless and very unnecessary to me.
You know the show is so bad when Main Leads are having their first kiss and your reaction is "What in the god's name was that?". It was just that random and unconnected, they had no chemistry at all in their romance, the kiss scene was hella forced.
I actually understand why this drama had a low rating in Korea and it clearly deserves it.
