Update: Youku adjusted the lighting of the episodes for TSL on Youku and the difference... now you can see all the details on their clothes. 💀 People thought the heavenly realm's clothes were plain but it was only because the lighting was so bright everything faded to white when heavenly realm's clothes had mixes of blue, pastel purple, different shades of white, grey, etc. There were tons of details on them like the beading.

Just finished episode 1! Wow, they really mentioned several issues (liuliang, shipping, etc.) in the C-ent industry already.

Yes! On the livestream towards the end, the staff asked if they would be willing to work together again and they said yes. Hopefully it happens soon. Since TSL was technically filmed in 2021, it has been 2 years already. Hoping we don't have to wait for 10 years like some other drama CPs LOL.

Just letting everyone know, CXX and LLD filmed a variety show episode together recently, should air on 3/24/2023 or 3/25/2023.

Definitely! It is known CXX visited on site when LLD filmed "GO Into Your Heart" (or another drama I forgot) and celebrated her birthday there with her. You can also tell because LLD used to call CXX "Xingxu-ge" or "senior brother" during filming (more formal) but now straight up just calls him by his name "Xingxu" (no formalities).

Yup! Their relationship in the novel is kind of like the typical trope in this genre with misunderstandings and not finding out the truth until the very end and not fully admitting their love till the end. I appreciate that the drama took their relationship in another direction and that they were in a relationship ASAP once YQ came back and they had a really stable foundation/no misunderstandings/strong trust in each other.

The novel is BE until the epilogue (which is apparently HE). YT's and YQ's relationship in the novel is a bit different too, they had more misunderstandings/hiding things/not being honest with their feelings. From what I know, YQ died at the end of the novel while YT, QK, and Man Man were alive.

Yup! The ending objectively doesn't take away from the drama since it is technically still a HE and it made sense. But I get the mixed feelings. I need Youku to drop those special episodes.

Yes! He cried like a baby too. It wasn't one of those typical ML "silent" crying. He really cried in desperation. I felt his loss deeply.

Yup! At the end of the day, they still revived LOL. Plus they are immortals so they will be clapping cheeks in like hundreds/thousands of years when they have their human forms again, we just don't get to see it lmaoooo.

Still rating this drama a 10/10. The acting was especially insane in the last/final episode. I sobbed for real. Just wow, I want to thank this cast for giving me this experience. They definitely elevated this drama with their acting and the changes they made.

It is more like a theory he had based on the knowledge he had as a Heavenly Emperor and turned out it worked.
