So where are the people who were like " WeR'e NoT WaTcHiG FoR ThE RoMaNcE" and look down on us for wanting romantic scenes like it's not the main purpose of a BL!! I'm sure that kiss made them lose their shit too. look how happy we all are. Normalize wanting those kind of scenes and let's not pretend we aren't.
One opinion I had about people's reaction is that it seems like many people seem to be used to particular tropes…
What makes this series a " different BL " than the rest ? because so far it's about nothing but two boys liking each other, there's literally nothing else going on. I'm not sure what plot are you talking about
Hm but all the plot scenes right now are there to move the story ahead and they are college kids not mature adults.…
No I didn't mean romantic scenes by good scenes. Just good scenes that are actually important to the story. more details. So far you can delete most scenes of those episodes and you wouldn't be missing anything.
This could be SO much better if it was full of good scenes, but by now I noticed the formula of this show is to fill the episode with random scenes, make it silly and childish as possible, and then at the end the last ten minutes it suddenly gets serious with a very beautiful and touching scene to make us excited for the next episode. Why not make the whole thing like that! The script is kinda weak if you ask me, but I'll keep watching because the chemistry between them is so good and hopefully it will get better and more serious the next episodes.
Of course you're free to share your opinion about the show itself, but that's not what your comment is about. You're looking down on people who liked it and called us " people who don't usually watch or know about kdramas " I watched all kinds of Kdrama and I still loved this show. Just say you didn't like it :)
As much as i love this movie, i cant deny the fact that the shower scene is problematic. I know they were trying…
In the shower scene Birdy was hard. That's why he didn't want to turn around. So I believe that gave A-Han the courage to do what he done, because he already knew Birdy was turned on. Birdy asked him to stop because he didn't want them to be officially gay with each other, but he didn't hate it and kissed him after it so it's not really r*pe. I agree with you about the part where Birdy was sleeping. But put in mind when you're young and in love you do stupid things. A-Han is really a great person I don't think he has a predatory behavior.
It’s so unfair. Both Edward Chen and Tseng Jing Hua have moved on to other projects, while I’m still here…
The good news is Chu Yu Ning said recently that they're trying their best to release a DVD at the end of the year and they will add uncut scenes because a lot of fans asked for it.
https://www.facebook.com/YourNameEngravedHerein
it will include two versions of the movie. the Netflix, and the uncut version.
