This is a cute little drama for what it is ( a short, low budget one I mean).

When Wan said "you can try having a (one-sided) crush on me a little longer" I was so proud of him for making Eddy work for it a lil instead of giving in straight away 😆

In a recent episode I think Grandma was talking to herself and said something along the lines of "Yeongmin needs to meet a nice girlfriend and then I can pass away in peace" and our ghostly FL tutted at her. I hope they're not foreshadowing Grandma's passing and Yeongmin helping her ghost move on in a later episode. They did a similar thing in a recent kdrama ( I won't say which to avoid spoiling) and it's a predictable trope in general.

I hate when the writers do that though- the ML has been through enough loss in his lifetime he deserves to live happily with both the FL and his grandma for years to come. Fingers crossed!

I also would have to recommend "One Spring Night", another great one that deals with two people falling in love beautifully while facing some outside difficulties because of their personal situations. It's my second favourite drama after "Just Between Lovers" which others have already suggested to you.

They did a great job casting this drama- the actors aren't as young as they are playing but are definitely believable as actual young 18 year olds.

I've been waiting for ep 24 and I think it hasn't come out for 2 weeks? Is the show taking a little break? (I hope it's not cancelled?)

I think other than 'Into the Ring' (which is very quirky and unique) what seems to be in common with the rest of my favs is very realistic down-to-earth feeling characters? So I'm not surprised by how much I love Meet Yourself!

I think this is going to be the 6th ever drama I will rate as 10/10 (out of like 200+ dramas I've seen)

I am trying to appreciate every moment of this drama as it is airing because I know I'll mis these characters when it ends

I just love this drama. As long as you're aware of the genre going in (quintessential slice of life , beautiful in the small every-day interactions it shows) I think you can't help but love it. The vibrant cast of characters in the village feel so real to me, it really is like peaking on the daily life of people who live a very different life to my own. My kind of escapism!

One thing I like about this drama is they didn't create an immature misunderstanding for the FL and ML meet each other and initially get off to a wrong start- but instead we just see them meet each other naturally like real adults do and we've seen them slowly start to spend time together so far. Feels like such a warm drama.

I'm on ep 4 and SML is such a sweetheart I hope he gets his own happy ending.

I love love love that the "confession conversation" involved an actual conversation with her explaining her concerns, identifying boundaries, and finding out more deeply about both of their feelings and intentions. It makes total sense considering her nature as a character and the walls she's built around herself because of her past.

Totally agree, I love that his father only had a slight reservation, and it's concern over whether she feels empowered to speak her mind considering their imbalanced working relationship. It would make sense that our ML has the personality that he does, having been raised by these people.

I hope he doesn't continuously let her misunderstand about his intentions with his ex.

Nooo I hope not! I just want our FL and ML to have a happy little family with the father safe and sound at the end 😰 These characters have suffered and lost enough

Anyone have any recs for c-dramas where the ML is a fleshed out character with vulnerabilities + with this kind of epic lovestory where even though the leads have ups and downs they never really stray from each other? Last time I had this feeling after a drama was Go Ahead. I'm going through withdrawals after watching this and feel like I have to jump into an actually good drama quickly so I don't go into a slump!

I'm catching up now that it's finished and I've reached ep 15 so far. Nayeon and Heedoo are so hard to watch together. There's a really fine line between love and hate- it's often celebrities biggest fans that turn around and become their most passionate anti-fans. At first when Nayeon mentioned feeling like Heedoo hated her I assumed she was just using an expression to refer to the usual relationship hurts but after seeing them interact closely in the latter episodes I totally understand why Nayeon would feel like he genuinely hates her. He is so quick to scold and believe the worst in her. Nayeon is clearly not perfect (no one is) but regardless it's still difficult to see them interact when it seems he has no respect for her.

This was a sweet little series. I think a season two revolving around MLs little brother and his class mate would be cool.

I havent watched yet but I checked twitter under the #HeartSignalS5 hasthag - weibo users have posted a lot of spoiler clips that are going around (I dont know if its televised early in china or what).
