After episode 15, I'm not sure where the creators were heading entirely with this drama...s apart from all the casts' great performances, I can't really place my finger on the exact genre and outcome of this drama.. i just felt dizzy all of a sudden as I was watching through ep 15.... I might be wrong coz maybe there is a deeper and more profound understanding of the plot that i missed to see

woo hoo..that's superb news...I would like to think that Machida san took up the offer for Eiji san, since they looked extremely comfortable with each other in Cherry Magic..not to mention their great chemistry

Sosuke buying the cakes for the staff was a cute move... a subtle treat for Ai after her caramel spree prior to that ... small but practical and cute moves made the ep more endearing

ep 6 was soooo good. to compress so much from the original into one episode but create fun and well-paced scenes is superb....acting was top notch from everyone....strong FL and given due respect by all her colleagues including the ML is so motivating.....Sosuke crying (I'm quite sure he did) after breaking from the hug was superbly done, adding depth to his worries and fear for Ai...This ep showcased a lot of Kento san's different emotions in his acts..

love the revelation of their past connection when they were kids in ep 14.. I'm a sucker for dramatic reveals especially when it has kindness involved... well acted too

I'm thinking if Sosuke knows or suspects something. At the park, he mentions 'you once said to believe in your potential', when in Ep3 he was the one who mentioned it to Ai while reminiscing of younger Ai having told him the same advice years before. And the fact that he kept bugging her about what she had initially wanted to tell him that night during the trip. The director has made some changes from the Korean version, so it could go slightly different before he actually confirms who is the actual Sato Ai .. With all these ???, how to wait patiently for Ep 6 ..... 🙄

hands down Fuka san is the best FL compared to the original....very natural and believable.... Ep 5 was good and they made this ML so much more humble and apologetic for his decisions

plot is getting a little messy with less emphasis on the mystery part and the romance having too much unnecessary slow scenes...ill still wait diligently to watch the next eps...the casts acting can be the only saving grace if the plot does not improve

tqtq for your response. makes sense that the drama would have only caught up to part of the manga .hence hoping there is a S2 of the drama following the rest of the manga...my fingers will be crossed till then 😄.. im sure i will agree with your last line since the drama's greatness is also due to the actors who did such a great job.. I have rewatched it 4 times or more within a week plus and keep looking for related videos and blogs ...for short I am head over heels with every bit of this show...so, I ended up getting the first 3 volumes of the manga (first time ever) ...so my question is if anyone here has read the manga, are they good? would it nurse my pining for the show😁. Thank you

Simple but engaging...Japanese dramas build freat plots on normal and realistic lives... this drama is one great example....

It'll be a sin not to have Season 2... The show was too good...fantastic acting, out of this world chemistry and great plot

ahahha...now i feel guilty... currently watching another highly rated one😅...eiji's cherry magic and i loveee it ...hence although I'm new to this site but i love it for its reviews and accurate ratings ..and easy to look for new dramas to watch

truly hesitant at first although I loved the chemistry between the leads in Brokeback Mountain.. so I thought I would give this a shot since it's one of Eiji's highest-rated drama.... DAMN...it beats any normal straight romance drama in the emotions/acting/cuteness dept.. I LOVE IT... I was just praying so hard that eventually, both would come to like one another ...the chemistry is beyond explanation...one has to watch it to feel all those mixed emotions ...beautifully taken... 10/10

EP 4 was fun in jdrama terms but something was amiss that one can't help replaying the korean version of the same scene.. but the one thing I have to commend that is better than the original is the acting of almost all the actors in this adaptation, especially the FL (although I am a big fan of Hwang Jung-Eum) and the SML. After watching her(Koshiba Fuka) in this, I completed 2 of her dramas (Yokai Sharehouse & Tokusatsu Gagaga) in the week leading to Ep 4. I thoroughly enjoyed both their plot and her acting first.

watched this after discovering ms Fuka in the latest Japanese adaptation of She Was Pretty. She is cute but not overbearing, emotes well, and has superb comic timing, This drama is really good. Really funny and a fun watch...there is no romance and no need for it.... the entire cast was awesome at their roles...
