The chemistry between the main actors was satisfying.
Overall, this is a touching reincarnation story with a classic Chinese drama trope: demons versus humans. It's a light and entertaining series to watch, though it probably could have been shortened. 40 episodes felt like too many, and it got a bit boring around episodes 10–20 or 20–30, where Neo had too little screen time. However, the acting of the two lead actors is unquestionable, and their chemistry is absolutely perfect. I was also quite happy to see how deeply the female lead loved the male lead. 🫶🏻
