Potential Romance Ruined by Bad Writing

LIKES:
Weather scenes, landscape shots and weather office setting.
Banter between the forecasters when deciding what to announce to the various agencies/departments.
First 4 episodes.
FL (Park Min Young) & ML (Song Kang) characters were for the most part competent and engaged in their jobs.
The concept of older woman and younger guy having a relationship.
ML shirtless scenes… thank you
The science and facts given during the forecasting.
Good kissing by ML (Song Kang).

DISLIKES:
WRITING
The exes, especially making them seem more important due to screen time and character development. Like the writer supports cheating and lying.
The parents: FL’s mother (Bee su Ja) forcing her to marry again, way too soon after her divorce, which was annoying and unrealistically ridiculous. ML’s father (Myung Han) being over the top greedy.
Office gossipers were over the top.
A lot of eating food scenes.
Too much angsty drama and not enough romance.
Too many side stories of supporting characters, with boring moments.

PRODUCTION & DIRECTOR
Directing sucked: too many times we are watching FL & ML stare at each other for way too long, it got old fast.
Shaky camera syndrome
Too much screen time for the 2ML & 2FL (the exes).
Too much screen time for product placements (eating, drinking [like watching an iced coffee be made], etc.).
Too many flash backs that ran way too long, as if viewers are stupid and can’t remember what they just watched.

ACTING
Little chemistry between FL & ML, even though they did their job well enough.
FL loves to stare at ML, co-workers, into the air. That’s either her acting or a director fail.

OVERALL:
OST not noticeable, so neither good nor bad.
No FX to speak of
Recommend only for fans of ML Song Kang.
