Sorry to break it to you, but i think its mitsuru only. As you can see her putting pumpkin away saying she wont be needing it for the dinner. And the very last dialogue is "Welcome BACK" i dont think she'd be saying it to Mr sonoda 😭

i hated the part where mitsuru accused them of having an affair, he was trying to get his point across yes but he genuinely used such bad wording for it. By technical terms, itsuki is a widower, the relationship that him and sakiko have began after he lost his wife and her husband disappeared with 0 confirmed signs of return. I truly do get the part of mitsuru and azusa being able to confide in one another as they had similar ways of thinking and past experiences, but after a while they werent just strangers anymore. Azusa's personality strikes me off as eccentric, i mean you can tell that both her and mitsuru had a part of themselves that loved their partners to the core, but azusa saying stuff like "we should make it a bit affair like" isnt helping the emotional affair allegation, i too believe at the very least it was that, and heck if they had more time it feels like it wouldve grown into smth more. I mean at the end they literally agree to go on trips every six months.
