At the end of the day, I think Overdo is really about what happens when people get stuck in toxic, self-destructive cycles. Through its characters, the show explores all the contradictions, cruelty, and darkness that come from not being able to move on or walk away, even when staying is destroying you.
The writing isn't perfect, but that's what the drama was trying to say, at least to me.

It’s really different, just like you said. I love how everything keeps unfolding. The main characters just win your heart. The ML’s backstory really hit me, and I just hope the adaptation captures the essence of the original novel
