Skipped some parts in the first 4 episodes, but after that I'm enjoying this so far. FL had to start over and got scammed multiple times 🤣 Excited for her growth

So far the CP's romance feels forced, I still think the romance is unnecessary since Xu Qian's adventure and his meaningful interactions with other characters alone can carry the drama.

If you loved The Double, you should also watch Legend of the Female General when it comes out. It's the same author who wrote it. Marriage of the Di Daughter was the source material for The Double and it was one of her earlier works, her writing and storytelling in Rebirth of Star General (Legend of the Female General) improved a lot and still very addicting.

It's actually what made me stay since most of times it would focus more on the villain forgetting the main leads haha. I will miss waiting for this series everyday 🫶🥺

True! This series actually had more screentime for the couple when you compare it to other dramas with more plotting of the antagonists XD

This was a great series 10/10, I've been sad lately that no historical drama had me hook and this one totally saved my boredom days, especially since I've ready all manhwa/manhua there is about isekai/reincarnation/transmigration. I love this series so much and I am looking forward to the next work of the team behind this masterpiece. Anything with Meng Zi Yi and Li Yun Rui will become a must watch for me.

This was a beautiful series 😭. From start to end it was so greatly done. Dou Zhao at the end was scheming, fighting for her life while pregnant, what a girlboss 💗. Chen Jia killing Eunuch Wang was satisfyinggg. I was right that Miao Ansu will never betray DZ. I'm so happy everyone got their deserved happy ending 🥺😍

Lol this is a goofy watch. Love the Zelda reference at ep 2. This reminds me so much of Party A Who Lives Beside Me, also a lighthearted watch. Not really a fan of short dramas but the first ep kept me hooked!

Binged watch episode 26-29, hopefully Miao Ansu will realize Song Han is a snake. I still want to believe Dou Zhao when she said before that if everyone would betray her, Miao Ansu would be the last person to betray her. I like that the story is tackling the main reason why they died at the first lifetime now that it's nearing the end.

For me, the rating is well deserved 💕. I guess you'll love it if you're a fan of strong ml and fl trope with a mild political plot on the side. I've read many novels in chinese ancient times and in this adaptation, with its visual and storytelling is what I think producers should strive for when adapting novels to dramas. It's just chef's kiss!

- Dou Zhao contemplating if she should accept Song Mo's proposal and realizing that she can be with him in this lifetime.
- Her heartfelt and sincere confession to Song Mo 😭 and Song Mo feeling the butterflies when she finally acknowledge their love for each other
- The red petals in the background signifying their marriage

Ep 19
- The whole ep!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
- Song Mo can't even enjoy their wedding night due to disturbances 😭😭 but this ep really showed that their love is patient and that they're true to each other

I love this cdrama so much ❤️ Oh to have what they have...

17 episodes and I'm still not bored. This is the first c-drama that I did not skip scenes because of fillers. The story is fast-paced and flows like reading a manhwa which I very much love. I loved Love Like Galaxy and Blossom had replaced its top rank for me. Every day I keep waiting for new episodes, this had become my comfort series <3

The cliffhangers are stressing me!

Yes, it's really good especially if you like strong FLs. One of my early reads and favorite book of the author was The Rebirth of the Malicious Empress of Military Lineage. Her writing in the Rebirth of a Star General improved a lot compared to her past novels, so you'll enjoy this adventure of He Yan. :3

As a fan of the novel and its author, I can't wait to watch this!

Halfway the episodes, it was surprising because there were no deaths yet. Wow, they all died in the end. After making me loving these characters, they just died like that. First time I did not read if there was a happy ending and this happened T_T. At least in The Double, the lead couple had a happy ending.
