55 episodes pleeease!

It was Seri who volunteered to be Beomsoo's teaching assistant because she wanted to be in his good books.

But the university administration should have disallowed a female graduate student to be a teaching assistant for a male professor.

The only solution now would be Seri admit that she pursued Beomsoo but he never reciprocated and even told university administration to remove Seri as teaching assistant when he realised Seri has romantic feelings for him.

But Seri would not be able to find a marriage partner for a long time....

Let's watch how Beomsoo get out of this sticky situation this Saturday. ☺️

Of course, what's Seri's reputation as compared to protecting Hani and his job.  So Beomsoo is being a nincompoop as he is slowly falling for Seri and cannot make correct judgments. 

I am not supporting Beomsoo's silence but trying to understand what he is thinking.  I might be wrong.

If Beomsoo chose to remain silent, then he is a goner - his career has grounded to a halt.

I think Beomsoo did not want to defend himself that he did not pursue Seri but that it was Seri who pursued him, because then her reputation will be shredded to pieces. 

He is being foolish because he needs this job to support Hani otherwise his ex-wife will snatch Hani from him if she knew that he lost his job. 
This is my own thoughts.  I also wonder what is holding back Beomsoo from defending himself and protecting Hani from his ex-wife. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

I found that scene of Beomsoo and his TA gossiping about Seri being pregnant and and living with a married man. 

Those gossip were awful and slanderous.   I think Seri would return to the university and then discover the disgusting gossip.  And then she will try to clear Beomsoo's name but ended up mentioning his name which made this issue worse.

@gig911, the reason Beomsoo remained quiet is if he defended himself, he would have to say that it was Seri who pursued him and her reputation will be shredded.  What do you think?

What?!  I thought Seri's rumour was she was with a married man.  Beomsoo's TA did mot mention she was pregnant.  Ok, I will try to re-watch that scene if I can find it. 🤭

Could Beomsoo's silence meant that he was protecting Seri from rumours?  His TA did tell him there were rumours about Seri and a married man. 
But why was Beomsoo unconcerned about protecting his job as well as Hani?  If he lost his job, his ex-wife will pounce in to take Hani away from him.  So perplexing! 🤷🏻‍♀️

I highly recommend it to those who enjoy heartwarming family dramas.

I am quite sure that Beomsoo will eventually lose his job.  What will happen to him as he has a baby to support? What's worrisome is his ex-wife will take Hani from him once she knows about his loss of job and income.  Even if Seri explained to the university that she was the one pursuing Beomsoo, his  reputation will be questionable. 
This is a very tricky situation for Beomsoo. 🤔😮‍💨

Dongseok is a high achiever who often succeeds in whatever he sets his mind on.  High achievers oftentimes have high self-esteem and are prideful.  He is so sure he will win again, this time not business contracts but, he is sure of winning Kwangsook's heart EASILY.  But he fails and his pride has taken a big hit so he becomes antsy and unreasonable, raising his voice at Kwangsook.
Kwangsook will be the one to teach him humility and empathy.

The upside is he is not spiteful because if he were spiteful, he would have stopped his friend from signing the contract with Eagles Brewery. 

I am not concerned about this couple because they are endgame.

Finally you realised that Hani was not smiling especially in episode 30. I have watched the first half of the raw episode 30.  She was frowning when she was sitting on the =bed while Beomsoo was trying to humour her.

You might be right that Hani is not smiling because of Seri's absence.  Let's see if Hani smiles in ep 31.

I agree with you regarding Beomsoo increasing sympathy for Seri.  Miae is actually helping to stir feelings in Beomsoo for Seri. 
One fine day, Beomsoo will step forward and relieve Seri of her parents' manipulation.

Yes, it takes patience and time to woo a lady who has no romantic feelings for him. He is dealing with this heart matter as if it were business matter.
But by the time Kwangsook has feelings for Dongseok, he will give her the cold shoulder.
