Yes!  Gyeol would not want to have anything with the Ko family and Eunae's family too. 

I hope he will remove his name from the Ko family register which is actually a good move.  Later, towards the end, Yeongja will be able to add her name in the Ko family register and be her mother's daughter legally.

Gyeol will make a rash decision to break up with Eunae, likely due to Daechi's lies about Seongjun.  Daechi will do anything to save his own skin.

But poor Eunae will stop her infectious and sweet smile soon.

Are you referring to Seongjun as the wedge between Gyeol and Eunae?
Seongjun has no idea that Gyeol's father was the accident fatal victim. 
But Gyeol might suddenly remember that Seongjun was one of the 3 men at the scene of the accident. Daechi who has opposed to Gyeol and Eunae, being a couple, will gaslight Gyeol.

Daechi must be jailed.... and his Crystal kicked out of the house.

Yep! She might very well outshine Eunae soon.

This family genre with intrigue but with less intense revenge is my cup of tea.  Only 41 episodes remaining is sad for me.
As for Seungri's revenge, I can only hope that she will realise (in the end),  how devoted Minho has been to her all this time and also she will not end up in jail.

It is obvious how much Seungri loves her father. Her eyes lit up when chatting with him.
If I were wrong and it was not meant for Seungri to take revenge for her dear father.
Then how to fill up 41 episodes. Maybe introduce a new family.... 😅

Oh! She did very well with her emotional and heartbreaking screams at her father, right? ☺️

Gwansik was trying to save his business by agreeing to stand in for Daechi and was jailed for 5 years.  But his family lived with Grandpa and family for 10 years. That meant his debts were paid off by Daechi but his business still failed because he had to serve 5 years of jail.  To date, he has been working for Grandpa.

Honest to goodness, if I were Gwansik, I would rather be declared a bankrupt. Otherwise, I would be assisting Daechi from taking responsibility for sending Gyeol's dad to an early death.
I will have to carry this heavy burden of guilt until my death.... I can't do it.

You've just reminded me about his close relationship with the Finance Director.  25 years ago, Daechi must have bribed him to embezzle Kangsu Construction funds to pay Gwansik's debts. Gwansik, in return, would lie that he was the driver which crashed into Gyeol's father's car.
Daechi is the scum of the earth!

That is quite a long wait.
Do you think Seungri will begin a revenge plot on Daechi and possibly Kangsu Construction? She is very devoted to her father.
If she did, then the story will make a sharp turn and become really intense.

In the last few seconds of episode 79, Seungri found out that Gwansik was jailed 25 years ago for causing Gyeol's father to die in a traffic accident. 
She will later discover that her father was jailed to cover up for Daechi as the driver.
I think she will plot a revenge on Daechi by first marrying Minho.
The story is becoming intense and intriguing.

I have just watched Gold Land.  It was addictive and gripping.  Acting of all the cast was very good. Some commenters wrote that the pace was slow at times but I did not find it slow because I do not expect the pace of any thriller to be fast at all times. It is just not possible to sustain a fast pace all the time.

THE DRAMA
My jaw dropped when Woogy told Heeju to take the gun from the glove compartment for her own protection and instead of being grateful, Heeju pointed the gun at Woogy and forced him out of the car.

Why did the Writer have Heeju betrayed Woogy and then have Woogy reunited with Heeju in her mansion in France?

I don't think Woogy was in cahoots with the Cambodian because the latter was asking the bakery owner if he had seen a short Asian woman.

The ending of the Cambodian guy watching Heeju and Woogy is a hint that there will be season two.
