Although I said I voted for Woojin to stop Seonghui's evil doings, I am unsure if he had the guts to do it. It will be great if Yeongra and Woojin could team up against their mother. I am so tired of this Writer and her nonsense writing that I watched two episodes back to back for this week and did not bother to join in the comments. Partly because of Chocolate too.
The second character which could be developed is none other than Gyeongchae. Like you said, Gyeongchae and Seri should admit their wrong doings, seek forgiveness from Lucia and change their attitudes.
But writing an insane Gyeongchae meant there was no chance for her to redeem herself at all. She was incapable of feeling and understanding remorse and pain. She couldn't even recognise Seri and called her Miso.
Gyeongchae told Miso apparition that she would not have done so if she knew who she was. It meant she would not think twice of doing bad things to Miso if Miso were a stranger.
But it could be the insane Gyeongchae spouting nonsense.
You said it could be GyeongChae's comeuppance for her mental state now because of what she did to Sujeong. But I am more keen to watch her redemption and transformation to a better human being. After Lucia told Gyeongchae that Miso is her biological daughter, she did not let someone in the family know that Gyeongchae's mental health is very fragile now and should be sent to the hospital if necessary. Seri did tell her that Gyeongchae seemed to be losing her mind. And her reply was that she would be fine. That was also what she kept telling Miso four years ago.
Stella was again the one who helped these two nincompoops T & L to win the final battle. After Stella said she would speak to each director before the meeting, T & L looked puzzled. They cannot accomplish anything on their own.
I feel so much sympathy for Gyeongchae. It is her misfortune to have Min Doo Shik for her father who also groomed her and in the process passed on his evil ways to her. Gyeongchae’s mother who was the anchor of her early life, passed away and thereafter, Min Doo Shik became her only figurehead. She wanted to work and become the heir of Mingang Distribution so she had to obey him. Even minutes before the end of episode 125, she was still obeying her father. 🤦🏻♀️
A baby swap was unnecessary and Gyeongchae could still be written as being remorseful and change for the better. But the Writer wanted the insanity shock factor.
So Gyeongchae became insane and how is that paying for her wrongdoings when she is unable to feel and comprehend pain and remorse?
