The foreign language is the most awkward part of this show, and next to that is the acting of the white guy. Although I do like the dynamic between Jo Yeon and him, I don't think it was executed very well, especially the dialogue between them just sound very awkward, its like they translate from Korean to English and kept the dialogue as is, and this is even more apparent with the chinese, so unnatural and incoherent. Anyway there really was nothing much to this movie, not a lot happen at all, it just seem like a prequel movie to introduce the new sister before they finally continue the real story.

I like it over the traditional can't-fend-for-themselves FL, I think this is just to demonstrate how the higher you climb the success ladder, the colder and insensitive you become to others, in order to protect yourself, which is going to be a major plot point in this drama and a major flaw that FL has to overcome with the help of the people around her, not a bad narrative, I love girlboss.
