There are many Asian fans who support their idols having romantic partners but those are older idols (30 and above) with older fanbase.

Whether we disagree or not with the system, it exists. Nothing is certain in life except for death, taxes and delulu fans being possessive with their idols lol

Asian fans are crazy and that’s how Kpop (and cpop) idols make their money. Fans buy them stuff and spends thousands and thousands of money on their merchandise. They sell the idea that their fans are their girlfriends/boyfriends and that’s the reason why they have contracts they can’t have a romantic partner 😅

PMY had great kissing scenes with Marry my husband lead too, if i remember.

I only know Her private life male lead from the deaths game as a serial killer but he’s cute in a HyunBin way lol

In terms of dedication to their kpop idol, they’re both obsessed and give it their 100%. Sol had a sad story, that’s the only thing that gives her an edge.

I have a Kpop biased too but you wouldn’t really see me spending money buying 2000 of their albums lol (you won’t even see me spending one.. my iTunes are free lol)

I’m antsy right now so i started watching Her Private Life (i started episode 1 a long time ago but got disinterested lol) and the main female lead is a 30ish year old fan girl of a kpop group lol. That could have been our Sol in the first timeline.

omg yes! i love dodosolsollalala except for the last episode. i didn’t like the ending because who freaking tells people they died and not come back for 5 years lol. but otherwise i love love love that drama lol. i think it also has a sweet reveal on how he was already enchanted with her way before their meeting or before she remembered.

I will never watch that guy’s drama (Song) because of this lol

I know chances are super super low but that reminds me of Well Intended Love, a cdrama. It was so beloved that they rebooted it for a second season the next year with same main leads and cast and same background stories and how they met but told in a different storyline. (Now that i think about, the female lead was an actress.. low tiered rate on first season but higher tired actress on second season).

I couldn’t get into Hidden Love but maybe I’ll try again. Lol

I’m looking forward to Hong Rong. Lee Jae Wook’s last drama disappointed me so much though!

Yeah, i used to travel a lot to Asia (and Europe) before i got married and even after. I usually was in Asia every month and that’s how i ended up in Japan almost 2 dozen times cause that’s where my bff and i would start our trips before heading to neighboring countries (ie. Korea, Cambodia, Vietnam, Philippines, Taiwan, Hong Kong etc). i think we ended up in Thailand 6 times within a 3 year span. I’ve been focusing on Latin America the last year or so (i just got back from Argentina this week) but i definitely miss Asia. Asia is where my heart belongs 🥰

This is Korea we are talking about. It’s not America or Europe. Houses are still reasonable priced there, although there are many places in Korea where real estate is expensive too.
