I’m scrolling rednote and there was a comment that cracked me up about the novel:

“Imagine reading the novel and thinking YeXian and FL lead are about to date and halfway through, an old man appeared! 😩”

In the novel, it’s Ye Xian who rescued the FL from the kidnappers (she already had a baby at this point) and he was mad that CYY couldn’t protect her.

I’m never going to have good sleep until this drama ends. I wake up at 5:15am for work and i always need to watch the new episodes when it hits 12midnight lol. Thank god i only work 3 days a week.

Btw one of the many many things i love about this drama is how the FL rich is super uber rich lol. I do enjoy the rich guy, poor girl trope but i have enough of it. I’m glad to see an FL who is not only smart and beautiful but also has wealth to shove in other people’s face when needed. Lol

The ones complaining about the kisses are people used to seeing Bailu kiss her costars lol.

I’m content with the kissing scenes of A Splendid Match. Considering they’re both newbies with kissing on set especially Ci Sha, they did pretty well. In real life, kisses don’t look nice with face and nose smashing so there has to be a balance lol

I feel like he’s so used to lifting her. He lifted her soooo many times in TRON lol

I’m thinking of which drama I’ve seen them consummate a wedding night but can’t think of any though I’ve seen Bailu’s dramas and she consummate first before marriage in the story of Kunning palace and moonlight mystique. Lol

I completely see your point and don’t understand how people think FL has no feelings for him when it’s obvious she does. More than friends but less than lovers. We’ve all seen the drama. We know there was something special between them and XY felt it.

Where did you hear about Winwin and RenMin staring in the next historical drama? I think fans want it very bad but i haven’t heard any rumor yet.

Probably because he’s much older than them and so much more experienced in life. He doesn’t need to compete and he already knows he has nothing to worry about in terms of FL’s affection.
