For real, thus why this series is a long shot when implemented in the real world. It would be a relief if the people in power have the same principles and values as the Minister of Education has, but knowing people today and how money and power can influence a person. It’s sad reality we live in.
I’m at episode 3, so far I’m loving the show. But damn that assemblyman is freaking me up. Am I too politically woke that you would rather see the motivation of the creation of the bureau as bias and a personal retribution, instead of looking at the bigger picture and picking out the root cause of the education system’s f-up? Maybe I am. But isn’t it the purpose? Assemblyman not reading the mission and vision of the bureau i see. Hahahah, just some thoughts.
I’m in episode 4 and damn, the mother really gets me. It’s sad to see how her mother goes to such lengths just to drag her daughter down. Maybe its projection from her mother’s side? But nonetheless it’s such a petty thing to watch. Genuinely everything she went through angers me and here I am just bawling my tears out. What kind of mother discourages her children to work and have a better life? Thinking about it makes my blood boil😬
On episode 14 right now and I gotta give props to Huaijin😭, even though he’s on the opposition, I guess he’s thinking of the bigger picture (?, correct me if i’m wrong). Bro’s so smart playing the balance game for the Majesty (King). He’s starting to become one of my favorite characters in the opposing side. His acting is good too👍
And I also love the parallelism between the Meng siblings and Jiang siblings. Bother brothers have been imprisoned, and both sisters are in a live or die state in the Shen Residence. It's good to see it.
So far epsiode 10, the crown prince is just not giving. He goes acting like he has everything under control, and the moment it doesn’t he goes to Huaijin. On the other hand, Huaijin is a smart character, I just don’t see or get why he is so opposed to chancellor Shen (maybe because of his treacherous actions or because of his family circumstances), I don’t know. Them two vibes are just not giving (lowkey giving lover vibes, not complaining tho hahah), might as well let Huaijin work with chancellor Shen together. As for the crown prince, give him a more bigger ambition hahahaha. But those are my thoughts so far, I hope it gets better🤞

You should give it another try. I especially love the tension in the first few episodes and that’s what got me going. In the later episodes, it’s where it gets more romance between the two leads.
