Am I the only one having trouble with how old Konishi Eito (Gennosuke looks old too, but not as weird 😛) looks in this role. Like I'm used to studios casting actors older than the roles, but he just looks old, and kinda weird. I don't know how to explain it, but I really don't like him in this role, and I'm not feeling them as a couple at all.
Since there's only 2 eps left, I'll stick with it till the end. Thanks goodness they're only 30 mins.
I just read the news and I am so mad! 😡😡 What is wrong with the Korean public. Seriously. It's not like they're all righteous and upright citizens. They are punishing a perfectly nice person for something her grandfather did, before she was even born. This, this right here, is why I have stopped liking Korean anything as much I used too. I can't keep being okay with the absolutely disgusting behavior of holding celebrities up to unrealistic and unnecessarily high standards, then completely destroying their lives when they do something the public don't like. Or in this case, punishing someone for essentially being born. The Korean public as a collective are freakin nuts, and I am so over it.
Sorry, I just really had to get that of my chest. These feeling have been building and building for years and I just needed to put them somewhere.
Also, just really sad for Ha Yong. It's all so very unfair 😟
Yeah...so I've decided for now, this one is not for me. I love Bai Lu, but this show feels like work to me. Like I'm having to force myself to watch it, and I'm just not that interested. Maybe I'll go back one day, but for now, I gonna put it on hold.
Am I the only one who though his death would have been the better ending? Like, I'm happy they got their happy ending, but it felt a little weird to me. I dunno, I just didn't love the last couple of episodes.
I am 7 episodes in, and have no idea what I'm watching. Is it a romance, a horror, a psychological thriller, or all of the above. All I do know is, I don't think it's for me 😬 That being said, I can't stop watching now. Just praying I don't have nightmares about monkeys, as I am about to go to sleep 😳 Wish me luck as I attempt to make it through this wacky ride. P.S. I have my theories about what happened on that mountain. None are good 😐
There is so much I could say about this serious. About the cast, the writing, the production. But all I will say is, I haven't cried that hard for a characters death in longer than I can remember. I knew it was coming, but seeing him like that, just broke my heart. 😭💔
Also that was the crapiest ending ever. Where's our wrap up to all the political nonsense we had to endured for 40 episodes. Where's the acknowledgment and posthumus awards for those that died. Most importantly, where's our glimpse into the future, were we get to see a somewhat happy ending. That final episode was a disservice to the whole series. Not impressed. 😑
I'm still in shock and disappointed in ya'll know who, but I'm happy for the couples that ended up together. The little progress clip at the end was really cute 😊
