I agree, but I think it's not the actors but the styling... the make up on the older guy and the hair on the younger... I don't know, it all looks unnatural and uncanny valley for me, with some more natural looks and lighting it might work. That plus the anime style over the top acting, I can't get into this at all. And I had the same kinds of issues with Fukami.

I noticed many inconsistencies that could well be explained that way! How do you know it's AI and not just sloppy work though? I would like to be able to tell because AI is getting harder to spot all the time. It seems like no one read the synopsis? He isn't coming back. It's about moving on after losing someone. I think there should have been more screen time/episodes with the new love interest since we're now like 2/3 through already. I'm also struggling with the wooden acting, not just from the main character and not just after the death, but all the way through and with all the actors. These kinds of topics are heavy and need some really good actors. Also the light-hearted tone of the series doesn't work with the theme of deep grief...

No, the series seems to be censored. The characters have already slept together countless times so it would make no sense to only show that later on. They don't even show kissing, it's super weird in the context
