Just a warning it's not the typical "obsessed with each other" trope like the one which is very evident on the surface as I said it's more laidback but there are literal undertones of obsession in their relationship, their co-dependency of years being one of the examples

I will try to explain this in the most non-spoiler way I can so at first It will seem like what you're seeing online is true since takaaki ( the glasses guy) is more "submissive" or does whatever naoya wants from their initial days but as the series progress you will see how naoya is also equally if not more into takaaki, he has a different way of expressing his feelings, he never let anything comes between them not even himself (you will understand it when you watch it) takaaki's weird obsession is the least of his concerns😭 aside from all this, it's a very laidback and comforting series with some turbulence here and there contrary from the
intial expectations lol you should give it a try 👍

Just rewatched it and oh I missed everything about it the plot, the budget, the chemistry, the acting and the fvcking size difference I love them so much!! Call me delusional but Till this day I'm team ogami from the other world, I still believe he would have been the better choice if kano stressed and communicated what he actually wanted well that's just me though since I'm very prone to second lead syndrome

This turned out to be such a comfort show for me, takaaki's small smile whenever naoya cooks for him or just initiates anything in general is my fav part, they are so full of love it makes my chest expand. I love love love when both the main characters are equally obsessed with each other, can't believe it's ending this week 😞

Aside from the "prioritizing other over yourself cause you are kind" dialogue which could have been worded more properly, this was such a cute start!! gennosuke reminds me of someone in thai bl industry but I can't exactly pinpoint it 🤦

This is definitely not for everybody, the characters are flawed to the core which surprisingly made this more interesting for me, the actors did such a good job I felt every emotions for both of them let it be hate, pity, disgust, hurt etc there wasn't a moment where I wasn't going through it the color grading and some unique angle shots helps to set the atmosphere more. The plot isn't complex at all, it's quite simple but the way its expressed is the opposite, everyone can have their own perspective of the characters actions or decisions as it hits really close to the reality, in the end quite contrary to the time I was watching I kind of felt empty like I was drained out I can't exactly pinpoint what I felt for both of them but it definitely isn't something bad I even grew attached which usually doesn't happen with me, I can go on for hours talking about the characters and the movie this is the best I can summarise on the surface level but overall I really liked this!!

Oh I'm so eating this up!! They have such good communication which alone is not so common in bls and they are also doing it better than actual healthy couples, there is something very hot about that idk it makes my dopamine rise. The wait for next ep is gonna be hell 🥲

I just saw the trailer and omg the budget is budgeting (whatever that means 😭😭) alice labryinth looked so freakin cool and it looks like they are following the story exactly as it is like even the blond hair and sun actually looks so good in it, personally can't wait for the bunny scene 🤭 The trailer really did not disappoint I can't wait for the release!!

The actual tragedy here is people like you exist who thinks grooming is a fvcking fantasy or some gaslighting. The last and the hater eps were definitely my favs, they felt like I was watching girl from nowhere but others just didn't hit the mark for me and not acting or quality wise because becky and the cast did great. The writing and execution was definitely the main problem like not saying that the story should spoon feed us the theme to understand but it should atleast be comprehensible to make our own perspective, I couldn't do any of it. It was like they were trying to make a point but halfway through it will just get lost.
Although it's inevitable that comparison will happen, I personally wouldn't compare the og girl from nowhere and this because it's a reset for a reason, I also actually liked how becky was so different from the og nanno too, she nailed whatever she was given I just hoped the stories did more justice to the franchise.

Is the dubbing ass? Yes, but did it deter me from enjoying this? Definitely no. It's not everyday in bl where we see a ml checking (literally staring so hard) out mc's peach so often lol. The storyline is good and interesting too genuinely can't wait for the next eps!!
