Interesting story, BUT...

I sure as hell hope that Ming and Joe do not actually end up together but that Joe will keep in mind the horrible things Ming has done to him. I'm pretty sure that they will be a couple in the end but I hope that at least Ming has sought professional help during the time Joe was in a coma and that the series will not romanticize abuse.

One of my favorites even though it's not a classic

This series is way underrated in my opinion. I'm watching it for the third time now and i think it will not be the last time. The story is rather simple and there are no super dramatic moments that could easily have been avoided if the characters just talked to each other like it's so often the case. The romance is really simple and wholesome. There is also a sort of dark aspect of the story regarding one of the characters past. Don't worry I won't tell what it is. Overall it's just a lot more realistic than many other drama series. It's much more linked to the real world. They show that homophobia doesn't show exclusively through violence and that often people don't even realize they are being offensive. They also talk about mental health issues. Really, the only thing I think was made poorly is that Gun (one of the main characters) is described as cold and scary by the other characters but was shown warming up to Cher (the other main character) very quickly. It's something that could have been avoided by not rushing things the way they did. For me, it's just a minor error though and I still really enjoy watching this series.

The last scene RUINED IT

This series doesn't have an amazing reputation but to be honest, i thought it was pretty good besides some unrealistic character attitudes. However, the last scene was unnecessary and completely ruined the entire storyline of the side couple. The writers were obviously intending to leave open an opportunity for season two. They wanted the last scene to be a transition into season two but if I'm being honest, i highly doubt there will be one. So now we're just left with a cliffhanger that came absolutely out of nowhere and gives us a shitty feeling about the side couple.
Despite this last scene, i really liked the series. I am probably not gonna rewatch it but it was really well made besides the things i mentioned above.
