Honestly, none. I love the actors and the story, but I didn't feel any chemistry. I just convinced myself to be satisfied with seeing them as good buddies or something. I've felt more giddy watching other straight bromance stories.
If Phoem had only been a good child to his dad and a good son-in-law to his father-in-law, those two old men would probably have been good to him too. What goes around comes around. We need to be kind if we want to receive kindness. This is my takeaway. However, because of Phoem's selfishness, this whole "drama" started, and we get to watch it. Lol! Beautiful cast! A bit predicable yet enjoyable story. Worth it!

Yes, it kinda felt a bit unoriginal that way. As a comment below said, it's a watered down version of More Than Words. It's like the director took the plot of More Than Words and revised it for a broader audience on Netflix, resulting in the lack of BL elements. When storymakers sacrifice the story for a broader/diverse audience, we get to taste a bland dish presented beautifully but executed poorly. Hollywood is also suffering with that in recent years.
