No problem. I forgave them easily because I enjoyed the fantasy-action scenes so much. Of course, the story was good too, and the characters were pretty. It catapulted the careers of the leads in China. But it makes you wonder what it could have been if it was more accurately adapted. Would it have been as successful? It was released before the pandemic. And BLs only became a hit during the lockdowns.

Another one that I’m still thinking of watching is “High School Return of a Gangster.” I stayed away because of its queer-baiting. But maybe I should try at least one episode to judge it for myself.

I still enjoyed "The Untamed" (2019) even if they made it "tame" (lol) compared to the source material. Can you give me an example of queerbaiting that left a bad taste for you?

Yoo Jung Hoo looks like a younger/prettier version of Kim Jung Hyun. My eyes are glued when he's on screen. Even the other characters become gentle toward him. He's too cute lol.

Yes, I Hear The Sunspot was a perfect 10/10 to me. Just thinking about the drama (and the theme song!) makes my heart feel vulnerable. They're like cute innocent babies that I want to protect.

KissxKissxKiss shows the Japanese actors who are better at kissing. But it's still nothing compared to western kissing that openly expresses powerful emotions and desire.

Oh my gosh, I love the "Our Youth" drama! It reminded me of SKAM S3 France. When you said mindreading, I immediately thought it's probably similar to "Cherry Magic." I've mentioned that I like completed dramas, but sometimes my curiosity gets the best of me. I've just discovered this new drama where a girl turns into a boy lol (My Girlfriend Is the Man).

The "healing" tag is included in Soul Mate. I might cry while watching! I cried hard in "Hidamari ga Kikoeru" because I was moved by the story and the selfless characters. To my surprise, people were complaining due to the lack of kiss scenes. I gently reminded them that the drama is focused on two teens falling in love for the first time while navigating disabilities. I felt satisfied without intimate scenes, but I didn't get angry at those commenters in the drama page. We're all fujoshis/fudanshis in the same boat. No need to act holier-than-thou towards others.

Kissing and steamy scenes actually show a side of the story that is important: passion. It convinces viewers how the characters are madly in love with each other. There's nothing wrong about wanting to see it. It's actually an art or a skill lol. We get to see which actors are skillful and talented in that area. But yes, it's just a bonus, especially if the other parts of the drama are already well done.

Isomura Hayato has this calming presence, so I'm really looking forward to watching him in Soul Mate. I'm not familiar with Taecyeon. I just know he's an idol with a girlfriend. I hope he's up to Netflix's challenges for the role.

It just made me sad how people suddenly jumped towards the bandwagon of branding me and other fans as toxic, based on a short comment I made. They don't even know me as a person. I guess that's why they misunderstood where I was coming from. In the process of reprimanding me, they themselves have become toxic and caused me stress.

Joss and Gawin are super hot guys, but there was something awkward about their drama. I didn't feel hooked. Was it the acting? The dialogue? The lack of chemistry? I'm still not sure. So I dropped My Golden Blood.

Hot kisses won't save a drama. That's why Japanese BLs with very interesting plots are becoming more popular than Thai ones. Even if Japanese actors give fish kisses instead of french kisses lol. But I'm still thankful to the Thai scene. Watching "2gether" as my first BL during the pandemic in 2020 is still a moment I treasure. I replayed the episodes while waiting for new ones each week. I started playing the guitar and listening to Scrubb songs. That's why I usually watch dramas that are already finished. Because I know I can get obsessed about what will happen next in the story lol.

Those are good titles! I'm stopping myself from starting Revenged Love because I want to binge-watch it all on its last day of airing (Aug 26). So many good BLs this season, I'm so excited!

Even with video games and anime, a riveting STORY is what keeps me hooked, not the graphics. But it wouldn't hurt to have both good story and good visuals, right? Thanks for your input!

I recently watched the boxing BL "Knock Out" and enjoyed it. It seems "Soul Mate" is also about boxing. Unlike Knock Out, I'm not expecting steamy scenes in Soul Mate, because the actors are already famous. This is just a guess based on recent Japanese BLs. I'm not bitching about it, yet some people here are calling me toxic because of a simple prediction. Even if a BL fan is obsessed about racy scenes, what right do we have to judge them? Let them like what they want, as long as they're not hurting anyone.

I love deep stories, beautiful cinematography, captivating music, and interesting characters. Steamy scenes are a welcome bonus, though. I love cute BLs like "Kieta Hatsukoi," but I also love steamy BLs like "The End of the World with You." So what? Does it make me a bad person? Can I not like both plain pizza and pizza with pineapples? I'm a young man who honestly likes both cute and sexy things, and there's nothing toxic about it. With or without steamy scenes, I just hope Soul Mate will have a good STORY.

My favorite BL is Hidamari and it doesn’t have sex scenes. It’s hypocritical to post a self-righteous comment when the source of BL/yaoi itself is full of such scenes. Just because you don't mind having pineapples on your pizza doesn't give you the right to judge others who like having them. I like both cute BLs and sexy ones, so I don't criticize others who belong to the same community. I just stated my predictions based on recent observations and said that the STORY is what matters. Yet here you are suddenly calling me and other fans toxic. What's wrong with you?

Probably no explicit scenes because of the popularity of the main actors. But as long as the story is good, I'm all for it.

I loved S1. I enjoyed this S2 but it felt like a filler season, like nothing substantial happened, especially episode 3.

You'll get drawn in by their sexual tension in the first half, then boom a darker world and revelations await in the latter episodes. Good way to "hook" the audience. ;)

Cute but felt lacking. Like unresolved issues and plot holes. The writing didn't feel coherent. Hot kiss (I don't consider it a sex scene 'cause I couldn't see anything lol! It's kinda censored and too zoomed in.) I'm sensitive but didn't feel moved. It's just a light story. Good but not great.

I love this kind of supernatural/action drama. Beautiful cast of actors. Colorful characters. Interesting story. It has both heartwarming and funny moments. I love it! 10/10
