Ep:33 It's so obvious Mu already knows who the man in black is but since he lacks the evidence rn and the man is close to his Zhao he is trying to take it slow, throwing hints at her...Our girl is smart, just a bit clouded by emotion...I bet even she would have realised otherwise by now~
Honestly, cannot wait for ep34 and the big reveal!! Everyone's reactions will be sooo satisfying to watch~ Somehow it's always the righteous sects that hide the biggest evil!!

Yes it is bearable but still nonetheless and imperfection this drama has...For me it ruins the immersion because of the chopiness but thankfully, it's not a lot.

I don't understand the complaints about editing and transition, I mean where's the flaw? This one has a very good…
When you reach ep 8 you will understand lol There was one too many glaring transitions in this one but that takes the cake...The editing def has issues that doesn't mean the drama is bad overall, but like we can't deny its shortcomings as well...

Currently on ep 8 and while I have no issues with the many characters being introduced (since that's typical for most Chinese dramas at the beginning stages lol) or the CGI. I can't deny that there are valid claims about the editing being choppy. One moment they are in one place and the next they're somewhere else with barely any clues to help the viewers understand how that transition occurred. I appreciate not being constantly spoon-fed information and leaving some things for the audience to interpret but this drama takes it a bit too far.

Aside from that, I find the plot quite compelling and I absolutely adore both of the main characters! Their personalities are interesting and their chemistry is great as well!

if you enjoy the genre then I’d definitely recommend watching S1 also, but you can watch without it. I’m watching…
I see, thank you!

Title Love between Lines Spoiler
Zhiyu’s mother reaction after all truth revealed is really disappointing. you sleep and marry with someone who…
Honestly, I wasn't surprised much since to me her marrying her husband's friend/business partner months after his death was already very telling...That woman got no backbone whatsoever! Like sure you thought your husband killed himself and left you with a child and a mess to deal with which ain't easy... Resenting him and getting help from those around is logical but becoming the mf's wife?? Plus to me that would already be major red flag right there... Cause why are you eyeing the widow of your friend/business partner soon after his death and when is at her lowest?? Honestly ML so was forgiving and tolerant with her and the bs she spoke off at times! Even at that young age her son had way more awareness and could see things.

Finally finished this today! It was such a nice watch honestly! By the time I reached the final ep I felt kinda empty inside...They were so beautiful and perfect together. I also liked how they didn't villainize or bring unnecessary drama with the Pei guy! Also loved the FL friend's story and how they handled it!
I think this show overall was quite a mature watch with slice of life elements aside from the mystery/drama part! Some might have found it boring at times but personally I savoured every single episode. It was delivered so well that as long as you are a fan of this type of shows you get sucked in!

I just started watching this today and I've already reached ep8! This is definitely one of the best modern Chinese dramas I've seen in a while! The plot is solid, the acting/chemistry is great and I love the cinematography. I haven't felt bored or wanted to skip any scenes so far and I'm still excited to watch the rest! I can see why it got so much hype! I really hope it can keep it up until the end though...

I don't understand some of the complaints below honestly...This drama is delivering exactly what it promised so far imo
It's a light hearted rom-com with some emotional moments along with fantasy elements featuring the gumiho and deities/shamans which I am quite a fan of. So far it's maintaining a good balance on all fronts! The acting it's not bad and while the chemistry between the leads isn't explosive they have a nice rapport that suits this type of show. Eps 5 and 6 definitely felt a bit weaker, but that's to be expected since we've reached the midpoint and some groundwork needs to be laid for the latter half to unfold.

I’m a little over half way through and I agree with you 100% so far this drama does NOT deserve such a low rating.…
've reached episode 26 myself and honestly it's still enjoyable to watch! Although since the breakup phase has started, the episodes do feel a bit dragging at times. But it makes sense and is necessary considering how their relationship is viewed as a "taboo" by society. So we just have to bear it I guess.

I also feel that MDL ratings are becoming increasingly unreliable and the reviews for some dramas have turned into a battleground between actor fans and haters. It's disappointing honestly because I'm here for the dramas and the constructive fun comments and interactions.

I also think you’re right that many people fast-forward or don’t pay enough attention while watching. I've often heard people say that certain dramas are confusing and that they can't understand how things happened, even when the story is explained. I’ve seen shows with choppy editing or confusing storylines and this one isn’t like that.

I've had this c-drama on my watchlist for months possibly due to its rating discouraging me to start and other factors. Today, I finally browsed through my list and decided it was the perfect time to start it! And what a great decision that turned out to be!

I don't know about the others but personally I was captivated from ep1 and I've already reached ep 6 now! In just these 6 episodes the show has made me experience a wide range of emotions. The opening eps were engaging and despite the large number of characters introduced, it's not hard to follow. The plotline is refreshingly unique mainly since the way the FL enters the ML's household is anything but ordinary.
Honestly as long as you’re familiar with common c-novel and c-drama tropes, you should be able to follow this drama without any issues. I also appreciate the acting from most of the characters their performances are quite immersive and not over the top. Personally, I really like the FL's character so far she has a heroic aura to her and is clever without falling into the typical comedic damsel in distress or overly naive stereotype FL. If anything, the ML is still a bit immature but he possesses a sharpness and wit to him that I find promising. I'm really looking forward to their character development!

For now, all I hope is that the drama maintains its quality and doesn’t lose momentum midway or toward the end as many c-dramas tend to do. However, even if it takes a dip later on I don't think I'll regret watching it based on how enjoyable the opening episodes have been!

Why what happend to her?
Wow...Netizens can be so cruel...Like I get it, having our faves while watching and empathizing more with some than the others but this is ridiculous...It's just a dating show!

It's clear from the lack of after-show footage that Yooshik and Hyunji's relationship either never happened in real life or was very short-lived, which doesn't surprise me at all tbh.

The biggest surprise for me from the finale was actually Baekhyun and Yoon Nyeong actually becoming a real couple after the show. Honestly, Baekhyun seemed like he wasn’t over his ex throughout this so I was shocked they made it work. I suppose they figured things out in the end? Maybe now that he doesn't have to see Hyunji around, he can return to his "normal" self.

I felt a bit sad for Minkyung. But based on her ex's attitude it really seemed like there was no hope for them and their relationship. 9 years are not easy to cope with and it seemed to hit her harder but I am almost sure Yooshik will be hit by it more after the show. Hopefully, this show helped MK move on though and help her find someone new in real life!

Wonkyu and Jiheon were honestly my favorite couple and I’m glad they got back together and made things work. Along with Woojin and Jiyeon, they ended up having the sweetest and most natural relationships!

If you have watched the AND NOW scenes, then that's them. There was none with YongShik and HyunJi so I guessed…
I see...I am still watching the final ep rn and just asked so that I could check them later if there are any!
