Because they stole the entire infos about Babylon from them to clients, so yeah, they badly want that back. That's…
Problem is...Even when the leads wanted to negotiate the crazy psycho from Babylon would always scheme behind their backs...In my opinion Babylon failed to choose the right representative from the very beginning!
And yes Babylon was honestly never going to agree with Jin man's terms overall cause Jinman also wanted to keep his bussiness...I suppose as a way to protect himself cause ppl like obv Babylon can't be trusted.

very disappointed with the last two episodes. so anti-climactic - the way the villain died and how she had the…
Exactly! Q was so mad and out for blood when she thought it was Jinman and Jian behind it but all that went poof when the truth came out...Like no outburst for getting played by the psycho bish? No reaction at all? Also although she helped Jian, I was still expecting Jian to confront her because Q managed to kill not one but two important people of hers right in front of her...
Btw I also found it stupid how Jinman let Jian take over with the decision making so easily and early...Like sure she grew a lot since season one but mid season 2 she was still too wet behind the ears to take over!

Babylon can never be destroyed...Just like how the rich and powerful at the top can never be wiped out...Even if Babylon is gone or taken over by our guys, soon after another new "Babylon" will be built! Because it's the ones behind it that are unreachable!
Just like how Jinman said at one point that there was no point in killing this new team leader and her team because the headquarters would send a new one...This is a vicious cicle that can never end! The only options for our leads is either a ceasefire like in this season or them running and hiding far away...
Plus Jinman's goal was never to protect the world from Babylon like some hero but to ensure his niece's safety...Although in my opinion he kind of failed in that.

On A Shop for Killers Season 2 14 days ago
The ending of Season 2 was honestly really sad to watch. Personally, I think I liked Season 1 better. I felt like something was missing this season or maybe it just didn’t have the same feeling as before. Action-wise though this season was even better than the first, but I didn’t enjoy the plot as much.

The new leader of Babylon was a total psycho who eventually went off the rails completely. It wasn't even about Babylon anymore but her personal obsession to prove herself right. I also found her English dialogue moments to be extremely cringeworthy. I had mixed feelings about the gang from Japan and although I liked the siblings, by the end of it all I didn’t feel sorry for "Q". She herself acknowledged that death was always a possibility in this kind of work. Even though she helped Jian’s team in the end, I couldn’t believe Jian let her go so easily. Q had killed Jian's first love and Brother! So I would have loved to at least see a proper showdown between them. Like I get the "make the enemy of your enemy a friend" lesson but still...

In the final ep though, the highlight for me was definitely when Jian got that headshot and her uncle stared at her, it was clear how he noticed how much she had changed and there’s no way back for her now. If they do make a Season 3 I bet Jian will be even more calculating and skilled like her uncle. He truly raised a cub into a lioness. It’s kind of sad to see two of the good characters go this season though...Pasin and Brother will be missed. Both could have survived imo Pasin didn’t even get to show his combat skills this season, unlike in Season 1.

I just noticed, he's been playing with actress Ancy Deng twice
This is their third collab actually if we count their modern cdrama as well lol
Kinda love it since in this drama they seem to have perfected their chemistry by now haha
And this drama I think is also by far their best in terms of plot, cinematography and directing!

Actually the ML is not just simply a commoner poor guy... Although he did grew up like one for most of his life,…
But still I think it's better in this one!
He still lived as a commoner most of his life after losing everything and he will have to work his way up if he wants to clear his family name and regain his general status! But yeah that also explains his mistrust towards officials and also why he is so well educated for a commoner thug!

You're welcome! Honestly to me that doesn't change much since he lived most of his life as a commoner hidden in the shadows. But thanks to his childhood years as a young master he got a better upbringing early on which I think distinguished and helped him as he grew older for sure!
Plus his background is quite tragic and as his father was framed for a crime he can't let this be revealed unless he clears his name first!
I am also curious to see how they will reveal this!

not a fan of the fl (dex is a great actress dont get me wrong) but the character come off as too pushy for me…
Honestly, I agree with you that the FL took matters into her own hands without asking or considering ML's feelings at times. Especially since she has been on the receiving end before and knows how it feels to have one's autonomy taken away. However, in this situation the ML truly had run out of options. He was stuck between a rock and a hard place.
Now that the CP knows his identity, there’s no way he would let him go easily. Plus, the ML was already being hunted by some of his former subordinates, officials, the Cao Gang and probably even FL's grandma's people.
So, even if he disagreed and tried to leave, he would just be on the run and would have to stay hidden. FL was just trying to help him step into the light instead of remaining in the shadows, enabling him to make an honest living that he could be proud of without having to hide anymore.
It's not like ML's life wouldn't be in danger anyway, so she was simply trying to ensure he gains something from it. I can’t really blame her here.
Sure she also had her own agenda hence why she asked for them to be married since she needed a cover for herself but she was also genuinely caring for his best interests. And considering that the ML chooses to stay with her, it seems he isn't as adamant about leaving either. He had his chance and he didn't take it!

Title The Road to Splendor Spoiler
I cant believe ML of this drama is poor guy ..and FL well off... it happens very rarely in china drama world infested…
Actually the ML is not just simply a commoner poor guy... Although he did grew up like one for most of his life, his family background is complex!
Zhao Ling is actually the orphaned descendant of a prominent, wrongly accused military family. His family was maliciously framed and destroyed by powerful imperial factions. His mother was driven to take her own life making him an orphan. Left destitute at a young age after opportunistic relatives seized his family's remaining assets, he was forced to adopt a gritty survival persona. He hid in the rough underbelly of society, mastering martial arts and running the illegal salt trade.

Title The Road to Splendor Spoiler
Novel readers I have a question!!
So I searched a bit and this is what I found "Zhao Ling was actually the orphaned descendant of a prominent, wrongly accused military family. Left destitute at a young age after opportunistic relatives seized his family's remaining assets, he was forced to adopt a gritty survival persona. I am not sure if all the info is correct though or how much of that will be shown in the cdrama since novel readers have said that many things changed in the adaptation...

Apparently this cdrama has the same director and writer as The Prisoner of Beauty and the same art director as Flourished Peony!
And that explains a lot now about the quality of this drama!
