Sometimes greed and selfishness are just evil. YBC just wants to have things her way, she doesn’t care for anyone. Because she has 2 love threads, she does not need to learn to love someone, you don’t appreciate what you got if it was given to you freely. And if you can get away with your crimes, you will continue doing bad. That’s just life lol.

The drama merged her sect brother with the dream arc to show how he would treat her if he was her brother, because they couldn’t show the future XL or the monologues of LSS remember how good her brother was to her

You misunderstood. LSS is a 500years in the future character, who has a sect brother, whose past life is XL. Because of what her sect brother did for her when she was young, she will have a soft spot for XL, knowing he will then later become the brother she knows and loves.

XL will always be LSS’s weakness, he is the past life of her brother, one who always looks out and takes care of her until the day he die. She has never done anything for her brother, but remember everything he did for her. So their love is deep, to her, it’s a siblings love, but regardless of what kind of love it is, he always have a piece of her heart. And stopping XL from being killed isn’t a betrayal to TTJ really lol

He didn’t let her know all the nice things he does for her. All she knows was he ignored her one request - the flower that let she sees again. He thought he has years with her, whereas she knows she’s about to die forever, and so she only wishes to see briefly again. But he won’t grant her that. They love each other, they know that. They are just not sure the other side do as much lol
