Did they develop a whole new script!? It has like 40 episodes because the prequel of Novoland had chapters barely…
I think it will be refreshing to see a new script adaptation for the story of Ti Lan and Tang Qian Zi. Chinese historical dramas are often adapted from novels with repetitive tropes like rebirth and revenge, so it would be great to see something more original and innovative in this drama.
🥰 This is my most anticipated drama this year. I love both leads and hope the drama will do justice to Chen Zheyuan and Zhang Jingyi. They are both very decent actors.
Not sure whether this is an S+ project, but to make the drama compelling, it requires a strong production team, especially since the story spans multiple eras.
Chen Zheyuan will portray Ao Chi. He is the direct grandson of the Dragon King of the East Sea. After causing a flood while bathing in a lake, he is subdued by Zi Miao and later meets Sha Luo. He develops feelings for her, and the two share a relationship that is both bickering and affectionate.
Because Chen Zheyuan is the male lead, I’m considering reading the novel. I’m really happy to see him starring in a fantasy drama.
