Being a die-hard EXO fan, seeing them branching to different fields of entertainment makes me expect even more from them. One member who has been constantly active will be Lay or Zhang Yi Xing (in China) with a line of movies and shows in the country. Being his first movie as one of the leads, I was expecting a lot from him and probably its there where things went down hill from me. As the trailer shows, the movie shows how the life of 2 friends (and their partners) gets changes when they are randomly meet a baby, out of no where. Except the fact, its a bit too random. Not the baby, but their story per say is a bit too random. The story could have a better flow, better cuts than what it offers, which, for me, spoiled the entire movie completely, especially the editing and animation. The drama also was a bit 'unneeded' for the scenario. The story is very disjoint at times and makes you wonder.... when and what is happening? But it also does have a fair share of laughs. Some of the scenes are funny, but not to the point you go rolling on the floor laughing aka ROFL. The acting by the cast is actually pretty nice, especially the female leads were amazing. ZYX is a rookie in the acting scene and it clearly shows. Somehow,I wasn't convinced with his retention of the character but he is still learning so I let that pass. Chen Xue Dong, on the other hand, was amazing and actually made me laugh at times. Especially his chemistry with everyone. His and ZYX's bromance is not something I could feel but low-key wished it was banked better. And last, the baby. I so wanted more scene with the baby! Good productive scenes. Comic is YES, but more sweet ones, which I fell, got over shadowed by the drama inside the plot. Overall, if you want some LAY screen time, do watch the movie. But do not keep any great expectations for the same. If you want to kill time and watch some sweet baaa-buuuuu (baby), watch it, otherwise its not really 'worth-a-watch' movie. TL:DR : If you are a Lay or ZYX stan, Watch the movie.Maybe also for a sassy Chen Xue Dong also. Otherwise, you can let it pass. (Not a movie critic + not much into knowing about the industry so I may have some opinions in opposition. These are purely MY opinions.)
