Because people in China are superficial and care about nothing but looks. Why do you think the same traffic actors and actresses are just shuffled around the dramas. It gets to a point where you're tired of seeing the same faces.

How is she in a league of her own, aside from starting out as a child actress?? It's super competitive in c-biz, and there are a lot of actresses in her age category that are just as famous as her with dramas that rivals her too.

Oh that’s why. I saw clips of the drama here and there on Facebook and he does seem to be more concerned about his own appearance. As an actor as famous as he is that is such a huge no no. Dramas are a collaborative effort and he should know better.

But in interviews, he seemed very affected by it. He said he felt the public hated him, and reportedly stepped back for two years, that's what I read. But how come they didn't criticize the FL?? Why was it all on him??

Looks like he won't be. There is a recent romance drama rumor and he denied it. He was traumatized after public criticism of "Fireworks of My Heart".

I think she initially was going to do it, but then took another role instead. I was so disappointed that she declined this drama though. I really wanted to see them work together again.
