I haven't read the manga but there's 2 way to explain the ending The games happened, ppl that died died, and people…
The ending was the exact same in the manga. The drama followed it perfectly. The borderlands is the area between life and death. Fighting for their lives in the games is a metaphor for fighting for their life for real as well. The meteorite did hit the area, therefore injuring those people that we see playing the games. The games were basically a place for purgatory - those who are strong enough to beat the game are able to save their own lives and wake up.
Idk what to watch now that I've finished this! :( The dramas I also liked that were similar are Liar Game and Squid Game, but it's hard to find good survival live actions :'( Any recommendations?
ep6 caught me off-guard and got me screaming fr, my Mare and Orange ship sailed 🥹
Right?! Can't believe this would be their fourth time working together now! I knew what was going to happen because I read the manga, but I was afraid the drama wouldn't adapt that part! Thank goodness I was proved wrong XD
I actually really liked the dialogues and more emotional aspects of this drama, which I know some people were disappointed by since a lot wanted more focus on the games. This follow the manga closely though since the manga also focused on the characterization and emotional aspects of these characters. A solid adaptation! Will be rewatching!
Does this cover the manga entirely or is there still more content that they could make a show on.
There’s a second part called Alice in Boderland Retry where Arisu ends up going back into the borderlands. It’s quite short though, so not a drama but a movie could possibly work?
guys is this worth watching? and how good it is compared to 1st season?
I personally really enjoyed it! Some games do drag for 2-3 episodes though, so it can feel a bit slower, but I loved this season just as much as season 1. It follows the manga really well.
SO worth the wait and loved the ending! Kento Yamazaki and Tao Tsuchiya’s chemistry is amazing - so happy to see them grow as actors after working together 3-4 times now! The ending and life message was great, so satisfied with it!
I need a really honest opinion about the change between Jung Somin and Go Yoon Jung; although I know that this…
The switch makes perfect sense to me. We already saw Go Yoon Jung at the start of season 1, and this is her original body before she switched souls. So it makes perfect sense for her to come back to her original body. Go Yoon Jung does a fantastic job here - I came in to watch S2 without any bias, and I love her a lot. Her chemistry with Jae Wook is even better than Somin's chemistry with him in my opinion as well
My favorite dramas from her thus far are Who Rules The World and Love Like the Galaxy. I feel like Lusi is so…
I love your pfp! Rainie Yang's dramas were one of the first Asian dramas I've seen! And omg, Zhao Lusi's first drama for me was I hear you as well - she's grown SO much since then!!
