Wow that's amazing! This is already a really popular series, considering how many adaptations were made off of the novel so I wouldn't be surprised if this drama got really big as well! I know for sure that the actors gained a lot of popularity of this XD I've always heard of Mo Dao Zu Shi, but the drama was actually the first adaptation that I saw! And then I read the novel afterwards. I absolutely fell in love with this series! I'm onto the audio drama right now XD I wish that the Manhua was finished! I haven't really started the Donghua yet, but I'm waiting for season 2 to be finished before I start! :) I'm happy that this drama is doing well! I did notice the high rating on Douban so I'm happy for this drama <3
Wow, this used to be one of my favorite dramas when I first watched it a few years ago, but rewatching it now and looking back at it, it was super draggy and even boring at times. It's amazing how you can feel the intense love between Lan Zhan and Wei Ying with just their facial expressions and how they act towards one another without the need of skinship scenes. This is truly amazing. I cannot get over their amazing chemistry!
Ya'll I literally cannot move on from this drama! The amazing storyline, the actors, the relationship and chemistry between the two leads, the editing, the scenery, the OSTs... everything is literally perfect. I've rewatched this drama at least 4 times now XD I read the novel twice as well, and started the donghua also! I need to watch something else to get my mind off of this XD

The drama is VERY close to the novel! They did change a few scenes here and there, but the main points are still the same! The only thing that's different is that the novel has more BL and romantic scenes between the leads due to the censorship in China, so their romance could not be explicitly shown. Still, you can see the feelings they have towards another even with the ban! I recommend watching and also reading at the same time!
