Story and plot is interesting and decently written. I really wanted to fall into this drama because a female serial…
Maybe you're just not into his acting in this, and that's fine. He's a good actor. I've seen all his work and I must say that plot and acting-wise --he never disappoints. My favorite drama of his is Oasis, opposite Seol In Ah.
I'm rewatching Season 3, and I have to say, the Doldam team are such whiners⬇️⬇️
- they just cannot accept change. They complained about Cha Jin-man's leadership, only to complain again when Kang Dong-joo took over. Even when Master Kim told them that someone else needs to lead, they still grumbled. When you’ve been in a job for so long, you sometimes refuse to change and overstep your professional boundaries.
But then it was all part of the drama so might as well enjoy it.
I'm surprised at the number of negative reviews - I actually enjoyed this drama. There is definitely strong chemistry…
That's why I stopped trusting reviews and ratings here—they can be misleading. You really have to see it for yourself and be the judge of it. I'm on a rewatch right now and still find it really engaging.
The OST fits the corporate noir vibe perfectly, making the M&A scenes feel high-stakes. Just like the lyrics, "Money takes the heart away"and "All that glitters is cold" the show feels gritty.
It’s a really good drama. It dives into the world of M&A and feels somewhat realistic. The OST fits the corporate noir vibe perfectly, making the M&A scenes feel high-stakes. Just like the lyrics, "Money takes the heart away"and "All that glitters is cold" the show feels gritty. My only disappointment is yet another cliffhanger. I’m suffering from 'cliffhanger fatigue' (I just wrote about this) due to the trend of multi-season series. This ending left me unsatisfied and full of unresolved feelings. Now I’m anxiously wondering if there will be a Season 2? Did the series do well enough for s2 to happen? They might call it an 'open ending' But even open-endings suggest that the story is technically over, but this one really just feels like a cliffhanger.
i wanna ask wouldnt it have made more sense for the Left State Minister to make Grand Prince Un the King back…
that makes sense too, but maybe he also hated the Grand Prince because he's the son of the late King whom he despised and he knew the Grand Prince would take revenge on him.
What did it ruin exactly? It was like 2% romance but kay.
If they only knew how many wives he got in the novel. And that's what made me stop reading it hahaha. So I really hope that they change this in the drama because Xu Qian and Lin An are already a perfect match, and a harem angle is not so needed.
Finally finished watching! The earlier episodes were hilarious 😂 The angst dragged on a bit too long until…
they should have atleast hinted us (the viewers) about that ancestor thing so we didn't feel guilty everytime they were together. I almost dropped it because of that, glad I didn't though
My sister said I should watch it because I'll get to see Li Yun Rui with white hair again. So I was wondering when I'd see his white hair as I finished each episode and I didn't see that coming! 😆
Park Bo Gum is hugely overrated, bro was lucky af he got that Reply 1988 role
I don't think he was overrated, but the shows he was in were hyped (which is a good thing, as they deserved that). He's a good actor, it's just that this drama simply has a bad script.
But then it was all part of the drama so might as well enjoy it.
Hoping for season 4 with Dr. Yoon this time.
