haha, don't get me wrong. I'm not taking sides on any of those evil, greedy and scheming people. All of them have a fair share contributing to BDM's nightmare. But the most evil and selfish villain is her own mother.
If she had been a good mom, none of this would have started. BDM wouldn't have left her peaceful & loving home & her top position in class if she had stayed in the small town. The mom is the real cause of her misery. As BDM has said, she as a mother would have hugged her. Instead of finding out what's been happening & helping her, all the mom could think of was how to get funding from the old man.
As for HMN's richness, I assume all those came from her K bf or maybe more than 1 bf, and that's how she got herself pregnant. I also guess she kept her pregnancy a secret so that she could use the baby on K in future... She showed off her richness and give away those things to put up a false front and to be in league with the school bullies.

Same question, but after peeking into #34 of CP1 and reading the three synopsis posted on MDL, i think you can watch it on its own as the leading characters in each season don't connect. I think the sequel to CP1 is CP2 of which I've yet to find any info. Personally, I'm dropping CP1 since CP2 is still nowhere in sight.
CP 2 - no info CP 3 - takes place 50 yrs prior to S1 events, about Jing Tian mtg Tang Xue Jian and later Xu Chang Qing. All 3 are to overcome numerous obstacles including confrontation with their pasts... CP 4 - this takes place prior to CP 3!!! About mountain hunter Yun Tian He and Tomb Raider clan Han Ling Sha

I started watching cdramas in 2020. Didn't know about this paladin serial until now. After taking a peek at #34, IMO, to catch this 2005 production now in Yr 2023 is a bit too late. Besides outdated CGIs, I couldn't enjoy some acting, and the dialogues...!!!
