sigh, period drama these days use the same tropes. It's either domineering and unscrupulous inlaws or a jealous evil Grand Princess who's high and almighty and can shroud Heaven and Earth with one hand (if plot involves imperial court).

haha, in that era and she being a princess, the best punishment is for her to be chosen as a bride to faraway remote kingdom for alliance marriage. And then to be ill-treated in that kingdom!!!
