I seriously don't know how to feel about this drama. Each time I'm watching an ep it's entertaining enough, but…
Precisely my feeling! This is why I came here, to see if it's worth going on. It's not that I dislike it, not at all, I'm not bored either, but I don't know, something feels off (and it has nothing to do with Ai Mi's age)
Todays episode (31) left me heartbroken. Never did a separation hurt that much, I cried as if witnessing them die. Bailu and Cheng Lei are absolutely perfect. I'm absolutely in love with this series
I was afraid it wouldn't truly be a "part 2", but yes, it is, picking up right where we left them, in the frozen lake. The cast seems a good choice, they all have similarities with the original cast, but it will be hard to keep up (especially Dou Xiao (Yan Xun) and his smile, the one he lost during Princess Agents). Let's see. I would have loved flashbacks using the original scenes from Princess Agents, but I get that it wasn't possible. As I still remember them all vividly, as many of us, it doesn't matter. In any case, for those who didn't watch Princess Agents, I would suggest to start there. It's an amazing series and you'll get a better feeling for the characters, the dynamics, the emotions and so on from the very start. So now I hope this sequel won't let us down.
If we haven’t watched Princess Agent yet and are starting with this series, will we be able to follow the backstory…
Even if it's no "must" I think it's better to watch Princess Agents beforehand, it's truly a part 2, starting where part 1 ended. They show the key-scenes (replayed), but they are not as emotional if you don't have the context. If you have the opportunity, start with PA. It's an amazing show and if you start with rebirth, you'll be drowned in spoilers.
How come I truly live Cheng Yi in this ruthless character? This is so good
