I just start watching it since it will end this Wednesday. But after 2 episodes, I can't feel any chemistry...I like Miles Wei. His acting is good. But I am so sorry I can't feel the chemistry of the main cp in here. I Think You Are so Sweet is better than this.
So I think i will put on hold..I will watch when I have my mood back or when I have nothing to watch.
I usually can accept when the actors pair up with others..but I don't really feel the chemistry here. Wei even has chemistry more with Wu Xie as Bei Yuan/Lord Seven..He has a very good chemistry in Unforgettable Love.. He also has good chemistry in Perfect and Casual and also in My Supernatural Power. But i am so sorry not in here the main cp disappoint me .. Wei's acting is good..but I can't with the FL. I am so sorry... I think "You are so Sweet" & "Poisoned Love" are even better than this.
TO be honest, why the last recent modern drama, although they are played by famous actors ( Luo Yunxi in Lie To Love, Love at Night by Lu XueYi, Meeting You Loving you, Psychologist, etc) are not really "kicking". I miss Fall into your smile, My Little Happiness, Unforgettable Love, etc... I hope " I am The years you are the star" won't disappoint me...

Agreed! We can't just join because we are a woman then you have to take a side of woman ..and for the man, if they don't take a side of the woman, they will accuse you with a bad man. ( pervert, womanizer, etc). Nowadays, many cases that women, specially new comer who wanna raise, they do anything to be a star including seducing the management or celebrities. Some women are also delusional wanna be with the famous actors , so they seduce him. They think the actor would take her as his gf..but when the actor didn't do that, they will defame the man has raped her. Usually this will lead to blackmailing too ..and ask for money. Seriously! We saw alot this story in many drama. Some of the plot story idea in the drama actually taken up from what happened in reality.
He had s*x with that woman?...oh please..it's modern day..many actors & actresses do that... The point is, he doesn't rape her..that's the important thing and both are adults.
Why this story reminds me to Kris Wu. Although Kris Wu did that to others girl .but the girl who claimed to be raped by him actually lied and she had accompany who tried to blackmail him.
Good movie , but too short. Reminds me to Love of Thousand Years although not quiet the same storyline. Surpassingly the CGI is good enough for the movie..I know usually Movies have very bad CGI except The YIn Yang Master and some few other movies. Love the ML . The ending maybe confusing, but this is what I will say: The girl is back, but since she is a mortal, she can't live as long as he is..but they have a child together. So when you see the child in the last scene, it means she is already died..But at least we can assume a happy ending though..they have child together and a puppy.
I am so disappointed with this kind of ending when the person give up his title when actually ppl wish him to be the king as he is a good person. The reason about ppl know him as the one who kill his own father and has to kill the baby is so st*pid..ppl know the truth and how his teacher sacrifice himself is like being waste...He knows the baby is not the king's ..They can just pretend the baby died and let the baby become commoner. He can ask that Seobi to raise the kid as her bro or nephew.. why so difficult that he has to be king since he is still a little baby/kid.
Another best Kdrama after Vicenzo and The Uncanny Counters ... Love the main lead Ml & FL, they both are badass and not disappointed in any point. No FL behaviour that make me scream " st*pid* or "id*ot" during watching...love their strong personality, humanity, right decision , and chemistry. For a person who is so picky to watch Kdrama, I can recommend this drama.. The only thing that make me mad is the dead of Kim So hoon. He is a very nice weird person..idk why he must die since he is a good person. Why not kill that lawyer or that sl*ty gold digger woman..or one of the cleaning couple? His death is really made me mad. And I wish the ending is more better..not just suddenly 1 year later...
Han Taek So and his assistant are also good..He is badass ...although some of his behaviour is a bit crazy..but he still good to the end and help FL.
I hope the leads can act again together in another drama with the same personality...
I see..this is the story about their daughter. But if i am not wrong, they have a son, who later becomes the King ..not a daughter..except if they have another child, a daughter. So they have 2 children.
Reading the synopsis, this reminds me to a movie: Enormous Legendary Fish. The different is only the girl is going to be sacrificed to the monster. But in here , she got kidnapped. The point is, there is a monster in Enormous Legendary Fish, with ugly appearance and a handsome man who also appear as her savior
