I know it's only acting..but don't they have actress that few years older older than her ( 18-22 years old)... If she wanted to do a debut, she can play as younger sister or young daughter like Dong er. I wonder why they put her as FL in here.. The funny is, some drama use a very olde actresses to play as young maiden. They don't even look young at all , so it's not really fit . I don't understand, there are lots of actresses and actors but why they don't choose the right one?

The sub is not good and they cut so many scenes. It should be 45 min/episodes and it becomes 35 min only. I hope Viki will get the license and subbed it properly.
That good too for ppl who want and like to see more women in focus. I am ok with that but i can't guarantee I will watch it. I dislike annoying spoiled women who chase after men like crazy , I like strong personality women and not weak or crying baby too mush lady alike. But I still love the balance with the strong ML too and I love more males/ML in focus. But ofc it' s not wrong to make that drama for ppk who love to watch more females in focus.
No idea..but I hope they will make it soon...But China is really good in making live adaptation of anime and games. Sometimes I think they also make adaptation from Japanese anime. At least now they release The King's Avatar S2 anime. on WeTV. I also wish they remake the Smiling Proud Wanderer/Swordmans with proper story and ending. Because teh real ending is happy ending and the last New Smiling proud Wanderer didn't have the ending that it should be ..besides Dong Fang bubai should be played by a man who then become feminim because he learned the skill that make him like that.

yeah..but at least The Winner is Love had been on iQiyi ( https://www.iq.com/play/19rrhkzu71 ) with good subbed though... But Love and redemption and God of Lost fantasy are not anywhere officially subbed. Yeah..there is on Youtube..but I like more if they are on Viki or Iqiyi. If just Youku started the English channel with all drama being english ( and some others ) subbed..I would become the member. Because in Youku lots of good drama.
I hope so. But I am watching on Youtube now..and so far it's 30 episodes subbed. I have sent request to Viki to get this drama license but..idk why they took another drama instead. And they don't even take Love and Redemption.

yep..and how can we understand the plot. I still can accept it if they reduce from 40 to 36, it means 4x40 minutes scenes deleted..but from 70 to 36? It's ridiculous! They should just make it to 2 seasons.
I hope it as good as we have now and not a light drama. Not like eternal love dream or Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms After Story . I want they keep the pace balance between romance, action, etc..and still about immortality, deities, etc... and not just about romance.

She is older than him..but since her face looks younger than her age and they did a good job in make up, so she doesn't look older in Legend of Fei . Sorry to say too..I don't really like the actresses here..and the worst is the crown Prince. I don't dislike the actor, idk him..but they should choose the younger look actor in this since in the drama it's said that his uncle took his throne with the reason he is still too young..but seriously,, he looks like 40 years old and doesn't look like a prince all..even his older bro who become the medicine man ( first son of emperor), is younger and handsome.. If just the agents or the one who choose the actors did a good job, this drama would get higher rating.

as long as it has happy ending...it's ok.. and not making the Ml or Fl sleeping with others..married maybe because they are forced, but as long as they don't sleep together. I still can accept it. I want to see The Promise of Chang An but when i read the synopsis...I dropped it. I can't stand the Fl married his bro just because to save him then has baby with him..them the Ml trying to be with her again and also take care of the son of his bro... seriously? If it's about true love, then she should not sleep with his bro although she tried to marry him.
